Pup is 12 weeks old. She is lovely but i have two issue very common but she is my first puppy i have previously adopted adult dogs.
The first issue is she is very bitey her teeth are like little pins now and is breaking skin.I have tried yelping which just excites her. I have tried ignoring her which has little/no affect .I have removed her from room but as soon as shes back in she is straight back on our feet/hands. She has enough chew toys to sink a ship but prefers us!
My second issue is she is very stubborn with toilet training she rarely goes outside. She can spend two hours in the garden then goes in pees on the floor! She has days she goes on the matts is treated and praised then she stops again a day or two later .

My advice on toilet training would be to ditch the puppy pads because you are effectively rewarding her for toileting inside and so there's no wonder she won't go outside. She obviously doesn't distinguish between on the mat or just generally indoors and so will be confused as to why she gets rewarded sometimes and not others.
Go back to basics, take her out every thirty minutes, after food, after play, after sleep mooch around and wait for her to go. Eric used to perform to the word quickly so when you catch her squatting give her a word so that you can prompt her in future. If she doesn't go outside carry her round inside for five minutes and then take her out again. Don't give her the opportunity to go indoors.
It's a question of being really vigilant and making repeated trips outdoors. Eric was clean in less than a fortnight with no puppy pads and trips outside every 30 mins and he had only a couple of accidents when I wasn't watching him closely enough.

Read the thread from yesterday called - I think Dpup might have to go back to the rescue, for advice about mouthing.

And yes, using puppy pads usually just confuses them. My dog was only just starting to click about house training at 12 weeks and wasn't actually reliable until more like 16 weeks...so it's not always a quick process anyway.
