A second rescue dog

We have a 3yo male terrier who we had from Dogs Trust 14 months ago. He is a super dog in many ways, very sociable with other dogs, but does suffer from seperation anxiety. Luckily I only work part time and my dh also only works part time so between us our dog is rarely left alone.

Since my dh has reduced his hours he now wants a second dog and we have found another 3 yo male terrier at Dogs Trust. Our current dog and the new dog have met today and got on well. Dogs Trust think the new dog may also be likely to have separation anxiety.

We have never had 2 dogs before and I'd welcome any tips you might have on integrating the new dog into our family. Eating arrangements, sleeping, walking and how to go about leaving two dogs (should we have to) who both have seperation anxiety.

PS my MN nickname refers to our first dog that died a few years ago. He was a right handful, but what a dog he was.
