Update from last thread, think we have found our breeder/puppy and breed

Working cocker.

From a litter that was born a week ago. Breeder owns and works all his dogs. The are health tested.

Has kept a dog from all his litters and bred for another pup this time. Most of the puppies were already reserved for shooting friends. There are only two others available. His dogs live outside but the puppies are reared indoors. Mother and father available to view.

He only advertised the litter last week when the pups were born, but has had such a response to his litter that he conducted telephone interviews yesterday. The advert was on Champdogs, not Pre-loved or Pets4homes.

I was on the phone for an hour! A lot was asked about our current dog (Springer).

We have been invited to visit next weekend as a whole family, with a view to taking a dog if we both meet each others expectations.

What have I missed?

Puppies are black mainly, a few have white bibs and paws. Name suggestions welcome

Yes, and nervous a bit too, having two dogs, another puppy etc. More unknown!

I like Dasher, appropriate for a Cocker

We have a liver coloured working cocker whose litter mates were black.

To say he is a joy is an understatement.

He actually behaves like a mini springer too!

I like the names Buddy and Buster.
