Will I be wasting the vets time if I take her in tomorrow for a looksee?

She is 2 and a half and never been ill. She had the runs on Monday and Tuesday then it cleared up Wednesday and Today. But she has just been and she got the squits again.

She was a bit off it at the start of the week but been fine the last two days. Starved her 24 hours and then reintroduced some chicken and rice. Tummy nice and soft and doesn't seem tender when I squish it.

Last had a season April time so due about now. Her vacancies are up to date, was wormed 3 weeks ago and spot on flea treatment last Friday.

She is fed dried food, James wellbeloved and has some table scraps which she hasn't had this week. She isn't eating a great deal but is drinking quite a bit more than usual which does worry me a bit.

Any ideas before I ring and demand an appointment?

I could do potas and better than nothing but would rather her be seen and don't want to get fobbed off. Just wondered if anyone had any ideas so I can say I want x, y, z ruled out so want her seen.

I'm most worried about the drinking lots tbh. She isn't making a mess in the house so the runs could wait. Just not happy with the drinking.

Wish I was confident enough to take her temp myself. But I m not so want that checking.

If she is well in herself the most likely cause is dietary indiscretion (code for chewed on something vile). Some simple symptomatic treatment from the vet should settle it down.

Off to the vets tonight with her. Will update when we're back. Spoke to the vet nurse and she thinks she is better off being seen, especially as the weekend is coming.
