He's already had a bit of a trim round there this morning, he'd slept like that and it had all dried up <- sick face. I was not detangling that with the comb, so I attacked it with scissors and rubber gloves instead. Poor dog now has a bald patch on his fluffy arse
I just wish he would stop trying to make it to the yard and just go where he needs to go. It would be so much easier.
It seems to be becoming less frequent now at least.
He was still a mentalist on his walk this morning and was very unimpressed that I would not let him play with his friends in case he is contagious.
Now, this is one of the lists of 'requirements' on my 'dog needs to be' list that I get out for myself when we have gone dog hunting... a short coat - or at least short in the places that it needs to be short for this exact reason.
Yesterday our female DDB came back from three weeks at a residential dog training camp. We had a BBQ - we gave her sausages - she's now giving something back in return. Not sure if it's the sausages or just the excitement of being home but the excitement has now worn off for me.
Oh, and yesterday the male DDB Gave me a real treat. He started making the "urk, urk, urk" noise dogs make before they're sick (he'd been up in the garden eating grass) so I grabbed Waitrose Weekend, (Is grabbing the Waitrose Weekend to deal with dog vomit middle class or lower middle class? I never know) ran at him placed the paper under his mouth and he threw up all over my arm.
Aren't dogs wonderful!
Hope your dog's better soon. Hope mine's better first though.
