Pup in season and refusing her food, is this normal?

Pup (7 months) is having her first season and is not eating her food (royal canin with a bit of water) she usually eats it all as soon as the bowl hits the floor but she has just been sniffing it, walking away then going back eating a little bit and leaving the rest.
I always give her a chew stick in her crate when I leave her (school run or toddler group) and this is always gone by the time I get back but she has even left these a few times since her season started last week.
is this quite common or does she need to see the vet?
Thanks.

My Rottweiler never refused a meal (or indeed anything remotely edible) in her whole 12 1/2 years. Her first season was however marked with a definite lack of enthusiasm for her dinner, for a couple days at least.
Having always had dogs otherwise I haven't much to compare her too but in my limite experience it was entirely normal :)

Smile good thanks.
She seems ok in herself, keeps taking herself off to bed but other than that she's fine.
