How to help sad dog2

We lost our ddog1 a couple of weeks ago and our little dog is really pining for him Sad

Little dog has never been without him and seems so lost at home, I am trying to keep him occupied, lots of walks, playing etc.

But he seems to becoming quite tetchy ...

When the dogs used to go out for walks together little dog was patient and happy to trot along, not really bothering about other dogs or people around him

But now he is becoming more vocal and barking at other dogs, even people, as they pass for no obvious reason , he has never done this before. He seems ok off the lead but as soon as I put him back on the lead he seems to become a bit more stressed.

Ay advice would be really welcome, what more can I do, am upping the training at home to regain a bit of control when we are out but he is just not interested (not motivated by food or treats which makes it more difficult!)

Losing a friend can make them feel insecure - their backup support has gone.
