been working flat out on recall and whistle is off of short leaf again and back on long line. As long as I get him before we turn corners etc I can manage him not running off and if nothing to distract him he comes straight back on whistle or here comand. I was so chuffed so yesterday we had a fab walk a.m and I was looking forward to the evening one.... he got round the corner before I could grab long line and he spotted a lady and her westie. now the dog he pussy foots around, bit scared of them but sees lady has a bag, jumps all over her knocks her phone on the floor (I'm waddling to catch up :( ) blew whistle called the works he didn't even twitch an ear. Apologised profusely to the lady who was great BUT they are all great because he is still young there will come a time when they stop seeing a puppy I was sooooo cross. should I go back to short lead again or persevere :((((((
