Beaphar flea and tick collar for dogs, has anyone used it?

Picked one up today, she not due to have flea treatment yet but was wondering if they are any good?

Generally it is a parasite treatment that you can just buy from a pet shop, (as opposed to vet quality stuff bought on-line) then you are wasting your money, sorry.

It was only £1.49 in home bargains so no massive loss, just thought as a flea collar works on my cat so well I'd give it a go, will stick to the vet stuff, Thanks.

By all means give it a go and see what you think. I only use flea stuff on my dog if I actually find evidence of fleas, as certainly the vets stuff is a powerful chemical and some animals have been know to develop allergies to it or have bad reactions. In all honesty it is very rare for him to pick one up, so you could be using a cheap collar and thinking it is working well when really it has nothing to do?

Does that make sense? I am not awake yet, waiting for the kettle to boil for the firsrt coffee
