lots of short 20 mins a day, little adventures, just build up the time and drop a few, as you go on,

just judge when there is a time when she has energy excess, take her out, home and rest,

she will love it, the new experience will overwhelm her, so she will have to rest to digest all the information.

My little Yorkies, so similar size, get a half hour walk a day. Then it's just playing in the garden, dashing up stairs etc.
If we go out for the day they get a bit more.

great, i live a stones throw away from the park/field.

was looking at walking at morning school run, lunch, evening school run and after her 5.30pm dinner around 6pm? well around those sort of time slots?

if she has excess energy i can add more :)

thanks x

vets usually recommend 5 mins per month of age for duration of 1 walk. Until toilet trained you need to get her out about 4x a day to avoid accidents, but it has to fit in with your lifestyle really.

yes can do 4x a day, im at home with a toddler who loves the out doors so life style fits perfect! :)

she will be just over 11wks when she starts to go out, so will start off with 15mins.

im walking her around the house with her collar and lead to get her used to it :) .....she's not to keen of the lead! but getting there

I don't know how big your pup is AnotherLoad but the week before my dog could go out on her lead I started carrying her just round the block.....I think it gave her a good start, she used to sit really still and just take it all in....:)

i carry her everywhere :) school run, to my friends (over the street) she's been for a few car rides. dont like it but sure it will get better for her.

I have taken her out the front where all the kids fuss her, my neighbours dogs (staff & staff/rottie cross) get on well with her.

I walk her on her lead in doors and outside my front door, to get her used to the world Grin

she is small only weighs 1.3kg!
