Best None Destructable Toys

I am looking for some advise or reccomdations for some new toys for my 2 year old collie x lucher...... the problem is she eats everything!

So my specifications are:-

no loose string - get eaten
must be robust enough to be chewed and tugged a lot ( I have a labrador as well)

I have been through countless kongs and squeekies that just dont make the grade ( even though they claim to be the 'best). I was hoping to appeal to all you wise dog owners to ask to ask what is best, and what will stand the test of time :)

Any recommendations?

Have you even tried the black kongs that are supposed to last longer? (faints)

Your dog sounds like mine. Most toys are no good. Recommended to me on a recent thread was the kong tails. The kong wubba was a big favourite with him but lasted only a few play sessions - but that is very good for him and longer than anything else. I think the kong tails is going to last longer - he likes the tails but has the sense to chew on the plastic bit. But I don't know if it comes with the black kong attached too.

Nylabones last a long time but aren't as interesting to him.

Have you tried Antler Dog chews?

I saw them recommended on here and bought one for my puppy. She loves it but it has disappeared somewhere!

We have a four paws big rubber ball with a bell inside for our retriever (18months). Sort of a ball come kong cross-over as you can peanut butter it if you're off out.

Got it from Pampurredpets near us. Was about £8 but it's had some serious abuse and only has teeth marks..no bits come off :o

Planet dog toys are your friend! They are ££££ but they last! I have planet dog balls for my ball lover lurcher who chews normal balls within minutes for 4 years, yes 4 years! They are played with daily by all 3 of my dogs. They do other toys apart from balls.

this is brilliant

It's been my best purchase. Very noisy but great for entertaining while you are busy or need to pop out.

Kong tails didn't last long in our house. The ball making up the head was soon removed and used as a football.

Pets at home do a round version of the toy EverybodyKnows has suggested - you fill it with treats and they kick it about. Hasn't been killed by hound yet. Kong's rubbed stix also seems fairly robust, but is more of an outside toy

Our dog has completely failed to destroy one of these

This is her favourite toy ever and is still in one piece years later

Cannot recommend the above two products highly enough. Our dog can destroy pretty much anything in seconds but these two toys have stood the test of time. They are a bit difficult to find in shops but there are some for sale over the internet here and lots for sale over the internet in the US. I have had my sister send me replacements from America when the Amaze-a-ball was lost by the horrendous kennels that I will never send my dog back to.

Watching this thread avidly!

These are supposed to be indestructible by Rottweilers etc but my Skyes have eaten two over just a week!
The big black Kongs last about three days. Someone suggested I try a length of sewer pipe. Hmm

I am amazed that any dog can destroy the original kong! I can understand them chewing through kong tails, but I thought the original kong was indestructible - clearly not!
