The doghouse

I need birthday ideas

This is a (half) jokey thread. Ahem. Jasper is 1 next week, and I want to annoy DH by buying him a present (Got to love DH's Hmm face). So, I need realistic ideas of doggy toys that your dog actually loves, and also some hideously expensive items which I can leave open on the laptop to see if DH will crack (He's determined to ignore all talk of doggy birthdays!). Come on Doghouse, do your worst.....

On a more realistic note though, I have to say my dog's favourite 'toy' to date was an apple stuffed in an old sock and tied to the table leg. She's also very fond of an over sized stuffed dog that we got for a couple of quid on clearance that's about her size, drags it every where and challenges herself to leap onto the couch with monster in tow.

How about a nice diamond neckless, a bargain at only $3.2 million lol

More seriously, I've found anything made by Kong to be of good quality. Also the tuffies range of toys is good if your dog is a chewer. Our Molly got the turkey for Christmas and it's still going strong which is amazing because she usually de-stuffs toys in a matter of minutes :) www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0056I838W/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21
