dog stomach making weird noises

hi, our dog 's stomach regularly makes fizzing noises, and is settled when I give her bread and butter to eat. It makes her want to eat grass. Is worse after eating raw veg so we have stopped giving her that. Is otherwise healthy, my old dog used to do this too. Anyone have any experience of this?

You need to go and see your vet there are several things it can be.

When our old dog had very loud rumbly tum noises it meant a dose of colitis and a visit to the vet. I'm sure that there are other things that it could be though!

Ours have had loud gurgly/rumbling noises when they have empty stomachs, but not 'fizzing'. I think eating grass is a sign they're feeling nauseous?

I wouldn't give bread as wheat is not usually very good for a dog's digestion, might be better to give some dry kibble or biscuit. Maybe see your vet if it's happening frequently?

Ephiny I think gurgly noises probably more accurate description than fizzing, and it does happen when she doesn't eat her breakfast so sounds similar . I feel it's like she needs gaviscon or something ! will pop along to the vets thanks for the contributions
