My dog has a sucky blanket

Our rescue collie/terrier/? cross brought her own blanket with her when we collected her from the foster home.
It was originally the dressing gown of a little girl in the house and is made of a sort of velour stuff.
The dog drags it into the living room after meals, plumps it up between her front paws til she gets it just right, and gets a wodge of it a couple of inches thick sticking up. Then she starts sucking on it contentedly til she is in a trance like state.
Now after 10 mins happy sucking and making it all dam, she has curled up on it and fallen asleep.

I'm really glad she has this (although it gets a bit stinky, she doesn't mind me washing it luckily).

Does anyone else's dog do anything like this?

Ha haha Gasblue that's brilliant!
The blanket was actually what she chose to give birth on, she 'borrowed' it from the little girl's room when she was about to pup.
Before we had her, sadly, I would have loved to see them.
