I am actually Shock He was 10.4 kg in January when he had his castration. And I can still see his ribs. Am in the process of shifting him from Burns Mini Bites to Skinners Duck and Rice, which at least seems to satisfy him more. He was a terrible food thief before, but the new feed seems to be curbing that. He just looks so...little. But I have a 2 stone puppy! No wonder I've been getting a dead leg when he lays on me at night Grin

So funny how big they get when you're not looking. Had my boy weighed recently, he's 21kg! Was a teeny 7kg when we got him. Ad I still have to lift him into the chuffing car boot as its too high for him..

I found Burns kept my dogs on the skinny side - and hungry too, so swapped them onto Arden Grange. No more scavenging, although still slim but muscular.

10.5kg doesnt seem heavy to me, but I suppose it depends on the breed of dog.

My dogs are 35 and 33KG each... This is when my size is a slight advantage.

He's a cocker/springer cross, but more cocker than springer in looks. I thought he'd even out around the 12kg mark, but it seems he may get a leeeetle bigger The Skinners seems to agree with him, and his behaviour is less...manic? He seems more content, anyway. I was wary of changing his feed because he has anal gland/skin problems with certain foods, but so far so good

Had my skinny springer and toddler weighed on the same day (by coincidence, I'm not that weird) a month or so ago. They were both exactly 13kg! Springer has grown a lot since. Toddler hasn't, fortunately, as I occasionally have to carry her whereas I refuse to carry the permanently muddy dog anywhere. I'd have assumed yours would be smaller though, being mostly cocker, although mine was poorly at the time and did look skinny.

I dont know much about skinners - except a lot of working dogs are fed it... might go and have a look online.
