*PLEASE HELP* Siberian Husky dog is missing in Hackney, E9

My cousin is asking for help in finding her beloved dog that is missing.

He is a siberian husky and is 9 years old and went missing from Homerton in Hackney on Saturday at approx 12pm.
He is desperately missed and we want him back home. He has been listed on dog lost here
and has been posted on several pages on Fb and also on twitter.

Vets, police and pounds have been contacted but with it being the weekend, we haven't had much luck so will continue to make calls on Monday. Posters are now in circulation but there has not been one single sighting of him and we are all getting more and more worried. Please spread the word and get Zeus back home with his family. His family were only visiting the area and are going back home tonight, they really don't want to leave without him.

Thanks. I wish I could more too, she is devasted. Even if we just get news that he has been seen somewhere, it would give us a idea of which area to focus on. We are hoping that someone has him and will go to the vets to get him scanned on Monday. He is chipped which is good.

I've posted the Doglost link on my facebook page. We used to live round there. The marshes are extensive. He may have found his way to Victoria Park, or up the Lea Valley. I do hope you find him.

Thank you for sharing, we need to get as many people looking for this dog as possible. If someone does have him (and is intending on keeping him) we plan to make it so he is recognised by others and returned to his rightful owners.

At the moment, I do believe that someone has him and is waiting for the vets to open on Monday, I hope so anyway.

I know he is not a puppy but the advery doesnt say anything about the dogs age.

Just checked, he is 6 not 9.
Thats not near where he want missing, but any lead is worth chasing up so I'm about to register with that site and send a message to poster. Thank you.

They've got to get out on the Marshes. There are loads of regulars out there who will keep their eye out - he's so distinctive. Tell them to contact the Hackney Gazette and put posters in all the news agents windows round Chatsworth Rd and Kingsmead. The PDSA in Bow too. I'll think on. So sorry this has happened to your family. Sad

The pound is just around the corner from there. Also get them to put posters in the train station.

I joined the site but as the ad is less than 7 days old, I can't contact them yet (unless I pay!)
I don't think it is the missing dog as the add was placed 2 days ago, he only went missing yesterday.
Please can everyone keep their eyes peeled for us. He is a very special dog and is greatly missed. I really do appreciate any help at all and I will keep you updated if we do receive any news.

Any news?

He may have turned up at the Riding centre 020 8556 2629. I spoke to a dog walking friend about this as she would normally know everything. She's off work, but suggested Millfields Road for the dog warden. Hackney Downs is pretty close too. I so hope you get some news soon. Of course there is Battersea.

How really awful for all of you. It seems you are doing all you can, and I so hope Zeus turns up. All the park wardens I used to chat to were brilliant. Please let us know if you do get news.

No worries. It strikes me than in such a built up area he must have been picked up by someone and they will probably try to pass him on for cash - have local pubs been given posters? Being mostly white he may well be mistaken for a white German shepherd, a collie x or something and may be advertised as such, keep checking Gumtree, Preloved etc.

This forum has a lost and found section. It's widely read so might be worth putting on Zeus' details.
