I've copied this from Facebook in the hopes someone somewhere recognizes Mary and can identify the scumbag who did this to her.

Tuesday night will be a night that stays with me for a long time. I had a Shout that there was a man outside work with a dog in his car that he had found...she had a pup hanging from her. The man had found her on a mountain side in Merthyr while he was walking his own dogs, she was freezing cold and unable to walk she certainly hadn't got there on her own. We carried her in the pup was dead, her temperature was so low all we could do was wrap her up get heat on her and get her on fluids, we named her Mary. After half an hour Marys temperature started rising and she became more aware of what was happening, we stayed with her talking to her reassuring her and she started bearing down, yes she was going to be ok!! Mary then stretched out and died in our arms. We tried in vain to bring her back but she was gone...but the pups maybe just maybe we could save them only for us to find that it was way to late for them they had been dead a while and had been slowly poisoning mary, the poor little girl didn't stand a chance.
To the delighful person who owned her and took it upon themselves to dump her when they realised she was in trouble instead of getting her to the vets i hope you rot a slow painful death.
Marys ashes are being returned to us so we can bury her and place a tree for her in her memory, she may have had a bad life but we will give her some dignity in death.
Mary was a small white bull lurcher with brown spots on her ears , if this dog rings a bell t anyone in the merthyr area please contact me, we will prosecute

Bastard owner . So glad her final moments were more comfortable for her though, bless her
