Hi I have a 14 month old Staffy Ruby, (we also have a 6 month old Tia, we got at the same time) we have only had her since 1st November, we rehomed her from a friend.
Ruby has had her first season with her previous owner, so when we got her we took her to the vet to book her to be spayed.
The vet told us that she was coming into season, so we just had them checked, chipped and wormed.
Anyway, Ruby had literally a couple drops of blood and a small swelling about two weeks later, and that was all.
This week she was very swollen and had about 36 hours of bleeding.
Is that it? or can we expect more.
This time she has been sick a couple of times in the morning, just bile, we have given her chicken and rice to eat instead of kibble.
Luckily we live on Salisbury plain so can take her to a remote area to let her run, although she isnt as bothered about going out, we usually get yipped at by 8 if she hasnt been out, last couple of days has just wanted her bed.
This morning she wanted her walk and the two have them have been playing again, last two days Ruby hasnt wanted Tia anywhere near her, is all this normal?
