Schnoodle pup ate 9 vitamin tablets. Rang the vet (who charged me for a call to the Poisons Unit...) and as they were children's doses he was well under the toxic level.
Apparently the one to worry about is vitamin D.
He may have an upset stomach (oh joy Smile) but thought I'd let you all know so you wouldn't have to pay for a report if your pup is stupid enough to do the same thing Grin...

Depends on the weight of the dog versus specific vitamin content of each tablet.

I know you meant well, but things like this really shouldn't be generalised as you may well have a Great Dane and someone with a Chihuahua could come across this and assumed 9 vitamin tablets were ok for any weight of dog and any strength of vitamin tablet.

Glad your dog is likely to be ok though Smile

Yes - thanks MotherJack of course that's right and thanks for pointing that out. While out today with the dogs I was thinking I should have posted weight of dog vs vitamin D content of pills....
