Best dog toy for tiny terrier puppy?

BIL has recently got a tiny terrier puppy. DD1 is mad with excitement after meeting her and wants to buy her a dog toy.

I have no experience with dogs and just wondering what sort of thing is suitable.

Thanks

Terriers adore things to chase and things that squeak. Most squeaky toys can be 'killed' within seconds. Kongs generally last the longest, so you could get a a puppy wubba if your budget allows, I think they are around £8.

Just give her an empty plastic bottle! seriously, we buy our terrier all sorts of toys and hes not bothered, if you have a bottle of water though you'd better watch out!

i have a terrier and he destroys EVERYTHING. so n soft toys, everything has to be solid rubber! If it's just a tiny pup a puppy kong or some sort of rubber teething chew. Failing that can't go wrong with empty pop bottles. Hours of fun for them and so what if they get destroyed!

missy, our terrier loves nothing more than a water bottle, if it's full of water even better! Squeaky is also good in our house, in fact recall is all about the squeaker I have in my pocket!

The only thing thats lasts with ours is a Kong, she loves tennis balls but they dont last very long (unless a really good make), she loves bottles and flower pots Smile.
