Poor girl Sad

I adopted one of mine privately, everything worked out well (and he's most definitely a much happier boy now). Unfortunately, the common shelter rules regarding childrens ages led to me seeking to rehome in this way.

I've since found a rescue which is happy to (using their discretion, obviously!) rehome to families with young children.

Furthermore, a quick scour of 'dogsblog' using the search criteria of 'good with children' brings up many family dogs looking for homes within rescue/foster and I wouldn't rehome privately again.

Should have said, second pup is a (true) rescue and she's bliss. Child, cat, dog compatible, no issues ....thoroughly 'family friendly'.

Had me in tears - appalling and very shocking. How can people be so cruel to animals?!

Poor thing. I wonder if she was stolen from the second family? Seems odd for a 'normal' family to be involved in dog fighting, and I know people who have had dogs stolen.

Why didn't the new family update her microchip though Sche? In knowing they hadn't, I'd have thought the previous owner would be the first person the new owners would notify if she was lost or stolen.

Thanks, Bast - I've seen them on DogsBlog, not very near us but they look great. Have bookmarked Smile
