Help please, my 2 yr cocker's face is swelling up & the tip of his 'willy' we don't know why. Should we call the vet?

Yes. All I can think of is an allergic reaction or bee sting but whatever it is, a call to the vet won't go amiss. Far rather call them now than be calling them at 2am of it worsens overnight, and especially as you have no idea what could be the cause of it.

Could he have eaten poisonous something which is also now affecting his wee too? (Hence the willy?)

Or even 'something poisonous'

We don't think he has eaten anything unusual, he was out for a walk 1 1/2 hrs ago & started swelling 1/2 an hr ago.

Regardless, please call your vet, just to be on the safe side.

Yup. I'd go with the vet too. Just to be on the safe side. Hope he's ok.

Bad news; Emergency vet number does not work Shock have looked on line & our number is the most upto date.

Good news; swelling is going down & Rolo seems lively (chewing feet etc) so don't need them.

I will be visiting vets in the morning to tell them how useless their emergency contract are as if he had got worse I wouldn't have known where to turn.Angry

I will check him hourly over night just in case!
