My parents fostered an accidental litter of lab daxie crosses 14 years ago. They were beautiful and the charity we fostered them for rehomed all but our Jack successfully.
Jack worried us, he ate everything that he could as a pup - worse than the 2 pedigree labs and 1 golden retriever rescue my parents had owned previously. He pulled up the kitchen lino, he and our lab and golden retriever and siamese cat worked in cahoots for months opening cupboards when we were out and emptying them, he ate Dad's diary, he left teeth marks in lots of cutlery, kitchen utensils and aluminium saucepan lids. Most worryingly he had some random fits aged about 3 and never had any more (????) although obviously we were really worried at the time.
Anyway Jack has this year turned 14. His picture is on my profile (at the bottom). He is slowing down but still bloody gorgeous. A weird and accidental cross created a beautiful dog.
