Which dog clippers please?

I have decided to purchase some clippers for my curly coated retriever as he is reguarly clipped and it costs me £30 per time.

Which one would be suitable for him? any reccomendations please.

For a dog that size and if you are going to use them regularly I would recommend you buy Andis with an additional blade suitable for length you normally have him clipped with. That could be a 5 or 7 (check with your groomer). They will cost about £100 plus another £20 for blade, however they will last you a lifetime, blade can be resharpened and they are heavy enough for this size of dog. The clippers in Argos, Pets at Home etc while cheaper will not be heavy duty enough for him. After a few clips the Andis will have earned their keep. Should you decide you hate clipping him you will get near enough full value for them on ebay.
