MN just seems really weird lately and I dont have the time or patience to read a whole load of crap about crap by 'possible' trolls, so I think I will just read Doghouse posts for now and snuggle with my gorgeous dogs, but not my cat, she makes me sneeze. Grin

no idea fruitshoot but my Mums little yorkie has hidden one of my slippers at her house!
I couldnt find it anywhere, could be under a bed somewhere, but I couldnt see it!

Ask the dog, maybe he is a genius and will 'show' you where he has stashed it. Or do a poo watch tomorow just incase. Wink

i was at the pet shop last week and the woman tehre was telling me about her friend's lab who ate a packet of wotsits from her child's lunch bag, wrapper and all.

boo my DH used to have a dog that would and could eat anything including wrappers, he was the worst bin raider I have known.

One year when we were dog sitting at PILs house he ate a whole sackful of christmas pressies (mostly various chocolates) including Dove soap and shower gel. I only knew what we had to replace by going through all the puke to try to read the wrappers!

I know I always say that you mustn't generalise about breeds, but Labs really ARE greedy buggers! :o

Mind you, a certain GSD got caught out when he was younger. I heard an odd noise coming from the kitchen, went to investigate and discovered my b&t boy running around the room wearing the flip-top part of the bin as a necklace. :o

ou of interest, anyone tried clicker training their dcs? specifically their 22 month olds that will not be told?

Report
mmsmum · 20/02/2011 23:22

lol at wearing the top of the bin as a necklace Grin

When slippers (and socks) go missing round they are always in the garden, does that help? Very occasionally I've found pants and bras out there which is very embarrassing because I never know if my neighbours have seen it before I did!

I never wanted to try clicker training, just never fancied it and don't think I know anyone does it

that reminds me, i found an navy adult sock in my garden today and nobody here owns a pair of them. i know the dog hasn't been out of the garden without me knowing. do you think my neighbour is trying to mess with my head or something? Grin

fruitshootsandheaves · 20/02/2011 23:26

has it been windy, maybe it blew in from a nearby garden
or it could be the phantom sock planter

My dog has hidden both of my slippers and one of DH's slippers.

I am doing well with training T but my kids really need training too. Its much easier to train dogs, they don't answer back which is a bonus!

lol at neighbour messing with your head, do you think it's more likely it flew off their line? Or maybe, there was a burglar climbing over the fence and dd (darling dog) got hold of his foot, his shoe fell off and as he got his shoe and was struggling to get back over the fence the way he came, dd grabbed hold of the sock and it came off? I think it should be taken to forensics for examination!
