If another hasn't been started.
How were David and Eric in the bottom two?
I don't get it.

Maryz Fri 23-Nov-12 22:36:52

Oh, which thread are we on? I'm a bit behind, so I hope Eric went.

LadyBeagle Fri 23-Nov-12 22:42:31

The last one went to a thousand posts Maryz, so I've started this one.
Bottom two were David shock and Linda.
Linda went out.
Eric is still in confused

kerstina Fri 23-Nov-12 22:58:17

Anyone else think Ant and Dec are not as funny as they usually are? Perhaps their usual script writer has left...

Maryz Fri 23-Nov-12 23:04:14

I'm not surprised about David, I suspect people are saving their money and think he's a bit cocky

I'm sorry about Linda - but not really surprised. When we were watching tonight neither ds or dd could remember her name!

LadyBeagle Fri 23-Nov-12 23:13:04

I only ever watch Ant and Dec on I'm a C'leb.
I love them, the show wouldn't be the same without them.
I sort of agree about David, Maryz but what can I say, if I vote on how shallow I am and how much I fancy him, I'll choose him.
But otherwise it'll be Rosemary or Colin.

WhatTheFookIsGangnamStyle Fri 23-Nov-12 23:31:35

Not surprised Linda went tonight.
Rosemary to win!

pinkteddy Fri 23-Nov-12 23:31:44

Did anyone just see Limahl singing Too Shy on ITV2 - brilliant!!! :-)

Mrsjay Sat 24-Nov-12 09:48:09

Oh i thought it lost you all <sad face> Thought david did well on his trial but god he is very arrogant Charlie was vetoed cos she was a girlie hmm I watched ITV2 last night Limahl is a strange man and still has an inflated 80s ego .

Oh forgot No surprise Linda went we didnt see much of her

Maryz Sat 24-Nov-12 09:51:11

I like Ant and Dec too - they do that awful cheesyness so well grin

I like Charlie more and more, tbh. I can't imagine Rosemary or Colin doing a trial of any kind, tbh. Which (since the trials are an integral part of it) rather rules them out for winning in my view. Though I suspect the voters may not agree with me 'cos they are wrong

I have to say that although Eric is a misogynistic arsehole, his voice does make me laugh David needs to go - it would be worth it to see the shock on his face!!!

Mrsjay Sat 24-Nov-12 09:56:17

I dont think id watch if A n D didnt present they are silly and very funny,
I really like Charlie maybe she will win I keep changing my mind
MY girls are sew sawing between Ashley and Charlie to win dd1 really likes Charlie and dd2 likes Ashley

Mrsjay Sat 24-Nov-12 09:57:48

I like Eric he is funny even though he is a bit of an arse he is funny and he is a grumpy old man but it keeps it interesting, Remember it isn't real it is an artificial enviroment so of course people are going to wind them up.

ajandjjmum Sat 24-Nov-12 09:59:03

I too think Ant and Dec are very funny, but I do get really irritated when they keep repeating the same thing. Isn't there enough going on over 24 hours to make up a show full of new items? And those bloody commercial breaks!!!! I swear I will never buy Iceland food in my life.

CuriousMama Sat 24-Nov-12 12:32:17

Linda couldn't wait to get out of there. Poor love was desperate to see her GD.

Limahl was miming, you could see he wasn't moving his lips near the end as they panned out. He tried singing in the jungle and it was rubbish so doubt he's suddenly got good?

They all seem to like Eric when they come out. Take him as he is. He comes across as arrogant to me though? Maybe it's just his way? hmm

carabos Sat 24-Nov-12 19:16:08

Are the "bottom two" really the bottom two? Do they not just pick one at random to put alongside the one who's going out? Shake up the audience, get more people phoning in?

wintera Sat 24-Nov-12 19:34:02

Hadn't thought of that I assumed it would be the two with the least votes but you've got a point! I'm not that fussed about Eric but I did chuckle when Helen said she was glad she had come to the jungle and he said something like well we're not we're fucking starving!

Maryz Sat 24-Nov-12 19:57:25

They say "in no particular order" so I don't think the bottom two are the bottom two. I think they name the second person randomly, for fun.

For example, when David really, really, really wanted to do a trial they named him as "might" against Helen. There was no way he had been voted for, imo.

I don't like Eric, but I don't like Helen more so I find myself urging him on blush which is really horrible of me.

Consils Sat 24-Nov-12 21:46:34

I wondered that. Eric doesn't seem to consider that he had a close shave. I think that the might is a rogue card.

squoosh Sat 24-Nov-12 22:01:55

snurf at the fake tan grin

EnjoyResponsibly Sat 24-Nov-12 22:07:51

I found you and I have wine!

Missed last night (more wine related), poor Linda.

I think the Eric haters are in for a treat tonight grin

WhatTheFookIsGangnamStyle Sat 24-Nov-12 22:10:39

HAHAHA Bet he is regretting nominating himself. The size of those mud crabs.

EnjoyResponsibly Sat 24-Nov-12 22:11:14

Come on Hugo!

WhatTheFookIsGangnamStyle Sat 24-Nov-12 22:11:43

Come on Hugo me old son you can do it!

CuriousMama Sat 24-Nov-12 22:12:55

That was fantastic! Well done him.

squoosh Sat 24-Nov-12 22:13:00

Hugo is a good sort really.

Rah for Hugo!

EnjoyResponsibly Sat 24-Nov-12 22:13:39

Top banana Hugo. Great presence of mind.

DyeInTheEar Sat 24-Nov-12 22:15:14

Am I a bad person to be willing it all along just so we can get to the fake tan bit?

WhatTheFookIsGangnamStyle Sat 24-Nov-12 22:16:35

Good Job. Well done Hugo!

Yeah what is it with Helen and her lips?

EnjoyResponsibly Sat 24-Nov-12 22:17:19

Why would you care about your fake tan when you're covered in shit and stuff in a Jungle?

LadyBeagle Sat 24-Nov-12 22:17:56

Aw, well done Hugo.
I'd have been more scared of the deep water than the wildlife under there.
I so want Eric out tonight, but I'd like to see him do a trial, like the worse trial ever.
I really, really don't like him.

squoosh Sat 24-Nov-12 22:18:30

Why has she put tan on? It looks stoooopid. Her pale skin is actually lovely, if only the dimwit realised.

WhatTheFookIsGangnamStyle Sat 24-Nov-12 22:18:56

Are they getting fake baked?

EnjoyResponsibly Sat 24-Nov-12 22:24:16

Well coughed and gobbed Eric!

squoosh Sat 24-Nov-12 22:24:25

As if Colin buys his pants in H&M!

squoosh Sat 24-Nov-12 22:24:56

I rarely say this but . . . . OMG. THE TAN!

EnjoyResponsibly Sat 24-Nov-12 22:25:00

HAHAHAHA she looks fucking ridiculous

squoosh Sat 24-Nov-12 22:25:29

A spray tan and blow dry every two days?

WhatTheFookIsGangnamStyle Sat 24-Nov-12 22:26:26

Helen what a mess. Take the tanning lotion away.

WhatTheFookIsGangnamStyle Sat 24-Nov-12 22:28:20

Why doesn't she just have a brazilian blow dry?

CuriousMama Sat 24-Nov-12 22:28:37

Oooo Eric had his claws well and truly out there wink

Mind you she did snap back.

Maryz Sat 24-Nov-12 22:30:42

Eric won't do a trial. He is a wimp.

Charlie will do the next one.

Three items, ffs.

squoosh Sat 24-Nov-12 22:30:52

Love Ashley.

EnjoyResponsibly Sat 24-Nov-12 22:31:37

Not The Mirror! What will Helen do when she can't see her best friend anymore?

grin had me in stitches! Helen, the body of the milkyway galaxy completed with a face from the oompa loompas. Wonka would love hergrin
As for Eric can't stand him

WhatTheFookIsGangnamStyle Sat 24-Nov-12 22:33:40

HaHaRosemary doing the lip touching thing that Helens got going on.

CuriousMama Sat 24-Nov-12 22:34:28

The shock on Helen's face when she realised the mirror had gone grin

Is the lip patting a nervous thing? It's so weird.

WhatTheFookIsGangnamStyle Sat 24-Nov-12 22:34:53

Helen looks like she needs a jolly good wash now. What a numpty.

EnjoyResponsibly Sat 24-Nov-12 22:35:29

Does it plump up ones lips if one dabs them continuously?

WhatTheFookIsGangnamStyle Sat 24-Nov-12 22:35:52

OCD perhaps?

EnjoyResponsibly Sat 24-Nov-12 22:39:09

She's fucking hilarious in the dark!

DyeInTheEar Sat 24-Nov-12 22:39:44

Is it getting much much darker. Was she meant to leave it on overnight? Oh Helen. It's like Ross in that episode of Friends.

LadyBeagle Sat 24-Nov-12 22:40:59

Oh, Helen.
I've tried to defend her on this thread but FFS, she's 24.
If it's true she's been on Corrie since she was 9, it does make you wonder what were her parents thinking?
I'm now wondering about child actors, and the damage that is done to them.
She just doesn't get it does she?
I really feel sorry for her.

LightHousekeeping Sat 24-Nov-12 22:41:01

They are on such a jolly, Ant and Dec. They must love their job smile

WhatTheFookIsGangnamStyle Sat 24-Nov-12 22:41:31

HaHaHa Helen. She does look like she has been down a coal shaft. HaHaHa. grin

DyeInTheEar Sat 24-Nov-12 22:43:28

Did Hugo totally go for a feel then?

Did look like it Dye

EnjoyResponsibly Sat 24-Nov-12 22:44:27

A sympathetic, comforting feel Dye

Maryz Sat 24-Nov-12 22:44:38

Ashley will do this well, I think.

I second the "what were Helen's parents' thinking" bit.

DyeInTheEar Sat 24-Nov-12 22:45:00

Hilar - as Helen would say. If we could only see her in the dark.

squoosh Sat 24-Nov-12 22:45:21

He had a feel but also had big scared saucer eyes!

CuriousMama Sat 24-Nov-12 22:45:50

David could barely contain his laughter.

squoosh Sat 24-Nov-12 22:46:24

Helen's face is rejecting the orange and going back to pale! Muah ha ha.

squoosh Sat 24-Nov-12 22:46:46

Bye Eric!

squoosh Sat 24-Nov-12 22:47:08

WhatTheFookIsGangnamStyle Sat 24-Nov-12 22:47:52

Poor Colin.

Arisbottle Sat 24-Nov-12 22:48:06

Helen looks ok now , she clearly just needed to rinse of the excess.

susiedaisy Sat 24-Nov-12 22:48:07

DyeInTheEar Sat 24-Nov-12 22:48:09

Oh Eric didn't look too happy about that

DyeInTheEar Sat 24-Nov-12 22:49:19

Fab. Thank you everyone. DH barely looked up from reading the paper.

EnjoyResponsibly Sat 24-Nov-12 22:49:31

Quick, quick switch over to MOTD and get a look at Michael Owens Movember!

CuriousMama Sat 24-Nov-12 22:52:01

I know DS2 had a face like this shock when he saw his 'tache. It's fantastic grin

EnjoyResponsibly Sat 24-Nov-12 22:54:24

It's totally YMCA. Puts the MNHQ boys to shame!

Maryz Sat 24-Nov-12 23:00:15

It won't be much off a challenge. They both want to go grin.

I hope Eric wins; Colin deserves a week in a nice hotel. Eric can go next time.

squoosh Sat 24-Nov-12 23:04:25

Wowzers @ Michael Owen's tache. Almost makes him interesting.

Consils Sun 25-Nov-12 07:51:37

who was evicted?

ajandjjmum Sun 25-Nov-12 09:19:46

Do we know that the one who wins is the one who'll stay though, or might there be a sneaky little twist?

Rindercella Sun 25-Nov-12 11:52:23

Hello smile I am a huge closet fan of I'm a Cleb and I have been meaning to seek out this thread to join in.

I hate Eric with a passion. Horrible, misogynist man. Saying that he'd like to crush Helen's head so the puss would squeeze out was so far beyond a joke. I hate that people say he, 'tells it like it is'. No he doesn't. He tells it from his nasty little warped perspective, not from any actual fact or truth.

David. Nice body. Huge amount of arrogance. Think he'll last another couple of evictions and then get booted out.

Colin. What a lovely man. Obviously desperate to leave now though.

Hugo. Has really grown on me. Thought he did exceptionally well in last night's trial. Very brave to go back and find the final star. I know some on the show said he was after David's approval, but I think not. I think he just wanted to show he could beat (or at least equal) the arrogant twunt!

Helen. Hmmmm. Now I don't have to endure her watching trials I have sort of come to like her a little bit. But shock at the fake tan. I think she's going to be really pleased she didn't have access to a mirror when she sees that back.

Rosemary. Mad as a March hare. Probably very annoying to live with, but entertaining to watch.

Charlie. Love her. Lovely, ballsy woman. Looking forward to seeing her do another trial. She's intelligent and articulate.

Ashley. Ditto. Really like her.

Would like to see Hugo, Charlie & Ashley in the final three. Think they have come across the best.

Sorry, I don't have a clue why I felt the need to share that with all of you! I will come back though and join in on the next lot of happenings! grin

Maryz Sun 25-Nov-12 11:58:36

Rinders, are you me? That summary is about where I am, except I'm still a bit hmm about Hugo, and I haven't really come to like Helen so much.

The rest, spot on.

LadyBeagle Sun 25-Nov-12 12:05:19

But David is so handsome.
<channels teen self>

bigTillyMint Sun 25-Nov-12 12:28:28

Have been watching on and off and just found this thread.

I agree Rinders, spot on! Except Colin just seems to be a blobby nothing. But maybe that's just the progs I've seen.

Ashley or Charlie to winsmile

Rindercella Sun 25-Nov-12 13:07:42

Well...I don't like Helen that much! grin I think she is a product of her upbringing. However, I don't think she's totally dumb and she is learning a bit. Eric is just horrible to her - a real nasty bully. I wish some of the others would stick up for her a little bit more. Linda said she'd have a word with him about it, but just ended up agreeing with him! I know when I was in my early 20s there was no way I would have stood up to a big, rude 60 year old man.

What happened to Brian btw? I must have missed the night he went - did he walk?

bigTillyMint Sun 25-Nov-12 13:17:56

Think Brian got ill?

I agree, Eric is vile <bleurgh>

CuriousMama Sun 25-Nov-12 13:22:45

Brian has depression and had missed a couple of pills and got poorly.

I'd have ripped Eric to shreds in my 20s. Helen did stick up for herself a bit thank goodness.

I think Colin will fail on purpose, he wants to leave. Eric not so much.

wintera Sun 25-Nov-12 13:40:08

I'm definitely with Rinder on everything. I really like Hugo, never ever thought I would! Love Ashley too, she's great.

Did anyone else pick up on the fact that most of the gang were really surprised Linda went? They were saying 'God, she's such a big character' etc. Just goes to show how much is down to editing. Linda was obviously a big part of the group but we never got to see that.

Mrsjay Sun 25-Nov-12 13:51:58

I dont swear that often but last night i shouted at the telly ffs HELEN STOP IT the daughters did this shock I said well she needed told blush her tan was hysterical especially when ashley did her screaming in the middle of the night and she looked out her hammock grin

Mrsjay Sun 25-Nov-12 13:54:42

Is the lip patting a nervous thing? It's so weird.

It is a thing you do to swell your lips and make your pout better apparently confused she is so shallow I can't believe how shallow she really is ,

TheCrackFox Sun 25-Nov-12 14:12:11

I want Charlie or Ashley to win

Helen is an idiot and needs therapy. She is obsessed with her looks.

Mrsjay Sun 25-Nov-12 14:16:05

I guess going into corrie hair and make up every day since you were 9 will do that to a person hmm

ajandjjmum Sun 25-Nov-12 18:42:25

Helen has driven me as mad as everyone else (agree totally with your summary Rinders!), but she did go and find Lamahl when he was upset, and although she doesn't seem to know how to do anything, she was more than happy to wash Ashley's knickers when asked. She could learn so much from this - I just hope she takes it on board.

And Eric is a total shit.

Acandlelitshadow Sun 25-Nov-12 18:55:52

I give Eric a day or two. So looking forward to seeing that smug smile drop off his boat hmm

Helen and the tan though - Proper lol'd at that last night. WTAF? grin grin

babbas Sun 25-Nov-12 19:26:38

Cannot stand Eric. Big bully and hypocrite. And really cannot stand ant and dec anymore. They're not funny anymore. Even my kids don't laugh. We watch the whole 90 mins in 25 mins as we forward all ads, any and dec pointlessness, numbers and competition
Bits. You'd think there would be more to show of the jungle but the actual highlights are very limited in the whole show. I'd rather see jungle highlights than antdec unfunny jokes.

mynameis Sun 25-Nov-12 20:14:18

Is it wrong to confess a crush on Hugo ?blush

Might have to start watching Made in Chelsea

CuriousMama Sun 25-Nov-12 20:45:37

Hugo's looks are improving in the jungle. No crush here but I can see it. So not wrong mynameis, he's looking more manly wink

CuriousMama Sun 25-Nov-12 20:58:59

Nearly time.

Rindercella Sun 25-Nov-12 21:18:47

mynameis, I don't fancy him as he's too skinny (particularly after being in the jungle), but he's definitely developing something attractive about him. Self belief/confidence perhaps?

LeeCoakley Sun 25-Nov-12 21:20:05

C'mon Charlie! Don't let us down!!

CuriousMama Sun 25-Nov-12 21:20:34

I think everyone must be watching Crickley?

I so hope Colin wins to wipe the smug smile off Eric's face.

Eric really is acting like a tosser. I hope he gets stung by green ants, poisoned by scorpions and bitten by a snake. Apart from that.... grin

Taping crickley!

CuriousMama Sun 25-Nov-12 21:24:46

Not looking good for Colin sad

LadyBeagle Sun 25-Nov-12 21:28:35

So who got the most then?
I hope Eric goes but I'd like Colin to have some time in the Versace.

reddwarf Sun 25-Nov-12 21:38:53

What happened? Who's out? How did they do? How was Eric? He is a mean bike man, isn't he?

CuriousMama Sun 25-Nov-12 21:46:12

We won't know until tomorrow for some reason?

CuriousMama Sun 25-Nov-12 21:53:19

No it'll be tonight won't it, they did that trial yesterday.

Rindercella Sun 25-Nov-12 21:53:31

I was so sorry that Colin's crab attacked him, but Eric's crab didn't. Would love to have seen him given a nasty bite.

I am guessing they were kept in for another day because of TV scheduling and Brian leaving early. Btw, thanks for letting me know what happened - sorry he had to leave due to illness.

CuriousMama Sun 25-Nov-12 21:59:47

Yes Colin did seem to get bit a good bit?

Aww bless them with the strawberries.

Oooo 3 meddlers!

chipstick10 Sun 25-Nov-12 22:08:18

Hugo is really growing on me

squoosh Sun 25-Nov-12 22:11:40

I like Hugo too, and David, and Ashley.

CuriousMama Sun 25-Nov-12 22:14:45

Here we go, who's leaving?

CuriousMama Sun 25-Nov-12 22:15:25

Hugo's coming across as quite a cool dude.

Please let it be Eric, can't stand him!

squoosh Sun 25-Nov-12 22:23:08

Colin is so sweet, hope he enjoys his stay in the luxury hotel. He's certainly lost weight!

DyeInTheEar Sun 25-Nov-12 22:23:28

Hugo's has really grown on me. And so has Eric this episode. What's going on?

Charlie and Ashley my favourites. Charlie to win. Her DD would be so happy.

Rindercella Sun 25-Nov-12 22:24:01

Damn,. Still, Colin is very happy to be out. I am really pleased for him.

Eric can get the boot tomorrow smile Smug, vile man that he is.

squoosh Sun 25-Nov-12 22:24:06

Can't stand Eric.

DyeInTheEar Sun 25-Nov-12 22:27:10

Can I blame my pregnancy hormones? He's annoyed me constantly but tonight I've thought he was a bit of a softy underneath it all.

Tis hormones. Am 39+1 and boo hooing over everything

LadyBeagle Sun 25-Nov-12 22:27:41

Ashley, Rosemary and David for me.
I like Charlie but she hasn't really stood out for me in any way.

LeeCoakley Sun 25-Nov-12 22:35:33

It's uncanny how Eric predicts with such certainty who's going to be leaving. I really hoped he'd be wrong when he said Colin but no, he was right again.

Also hate the way he leers at Ashley. I'm sure if it was her who'd said she paid to have someone blowdry her hair he wouldn't have sneered the way he did with Helen. Ugh! I feel ill just thinking about him.

clam Sun 25-Nov-12 23:11:37

I think hugo's got a fantastic dry sense of humour. Hope he lasts longer.

SoleSource Sun 25-Nov-12 23:25:17

Ooph Colon out

wintera Mon 26-Nov-12 08:16:16

I'm Team Hugo now. And team Ashley as well, they are my favourites!

ajandjjmum Mon 26-Nov-12 08:41:47

Thought it was interesting with the boxes how everyone had something from their 'nearest and dearest' that was personal to them (except maybe for Helen's mug - DD made me promise I'd never waste space with a mug in her parcel if she was on there!! grin), but Eric got a cuddly toy that he clearly hated. So someone had not put much thought into what would please him - which makes me think he treats his family like shit, and is getting his payback!!

Mrsjay Mon 26-Nov-12 08:49:05

I like Hugo too, and David, and Ashley.

call me cynical but I think ^ ^ is who the IACGMOH producers want in the final , I do like them though and they were good at the meddiling task but..

Coming late to the party but another closet self confessed Jungle addict here.

Any & Dec are totally cheesy and inane but I love them in this & agree it wouldn't be the same without them, they make me laugh so much its obvious they love their time there and theyt seem to have a good rapport with the aussie crew.

Hugo is growing on me too I think he is learning a lot about life and other people, and I really admire him for battling on with that last challenge to get all the stars despite clearly almost freaking out & hyperventilating at one point. He was also very sweet with Ashley when she did her screaming thing & it was hilarious how relieved he was when he discovered it was a wind up.

I loved the meddling challenges -thought Helen would self combust without her mirror, but she took it well afterwards.

Ashley is really coming into her own & I love Rosemary as she always seems to have something positive to say about everyone & is very encouraging.

Eric is just a nasty grumpy old git but he is funny a times.

Maryz Mon 26-Nov-12 09:22:09

Hugo is going up in my estimation too. I think I would like Ashley, Hugo and Charlie in that order. But I suspect Charlie will go soon.

I suspect Colin didn't try too hard for those little stars - whereas Eric really wanted to win. But it was interesting that Colin got all his big stars for food, whereas Eric didn't bother, being not such a team player. It showed their characters very well, I thought.

I always enjoy the meddling - and am amazed how they all seem to forget that they are playing a game. I mean, every year someone gets silly tasks to do, and every year no-one cops what they are up to and some fecker tries to spoil it. I mean, do they not watch it before they go in?

Mrsjay Mon 26-Nov-12 09:24:55

I like Hugo I think he is more relaxed now he realises monsters are not real grin yeah I think you are right Maryz colin wanted to go but he got the most dinner starts I think charlie got the most little stars though, good on colin what a lovely lovely man .

I don't think Ashley will win but I do think she will be in the final

Rindercella Mon 26-Nov-12 09:28:30

Yes, totally agree Maryz about the stars. It clearly demonstrated just how self interested Eric is and how generous and kind Colin is.

Agree about the stars, Colins a team player, although I must say Eric was surprisingly nice to Rosemary when she was phaffing around I thought he'd really snap at her!

I'm glad Colin got out in time to enjoy a little bit of at the hotel before the end

Bet Mad Nad is still wringing every last free drop of champers enjoying the rest. grin

BarbecuedBillygoats Mon 26-Nov-12 12:50:29

I'm with rinders and not other people

Eric is a bully. Helen might be a bit dim/annoying/naive but there is no call for some of the things he's said

I like Charlie from day one and Ashley seems lovely. Hugo is coming into his own. The water task was impressive

5Foot5 Mon 26-Nov-12 13:29:36

I am in Team Rosemary - I think she is a game old girl and I would like to see her win.

I also like Ashley and Hugo now.

Will Eric be next to go? I do hope so.

qazxc Mon 26-Nov-12 14:36:14

I actually thought that helen had a point when eric was having a go about her getting spray tans and hair blow dried. She said that she doesn't expect anyone else to pay for it, so why shouldn't she? Or does eric want to volunteer what he spends his money on for helen to sneer at?

takeonboard Mon 26-Nov-12 16:30:29

No one seemed to care or notice that Eric didn't get any big stars for meals but got 3 times more little stars for Himself than Colin.....do you think they genuinely all like and accept Eric as they say they do or are they really a little bit afraid of him?

I have liked Charlie from the beginning but she has made less of an impact than I expected so she may go soon, besides Charlie, Hugo and Ashley have also become my favourites but I am not sure the great British public will vote an American or a posho to win!

wintera Mon 26-Nov-12 17:21:59

Colin IS father Christmas!! He's so lovely. I'm going to miss him!

Mrsjay Mon 26-Nov-12 17:27:34

Colin IS father Christmas!! He's so lovely. I'm going to miss him!

I said that on the last thread colin is infact santa maybe it was a ploy to get out early this is his busy time after all grin

wintera Mon 26-Nov-12 17:33:01

Phillip Schofield agrees with us as well. He interviewed Colin today and said if they were doing a remake of Santa Claus the movie then he would definitely get the part.

Mrsjay Mon 26-Nov-12 17:40:16

I didnt have the tv on today wish id seen it, and yes santa claus the movie remake with colin I do think we will be seeing more of him now,

lollilou Mon 26-Nov-12 18:40:56

I hope Colin gets lots of work after this as he seems so nice. I don't remember seeing him in anything after Dr Who.

wintera Mon 26-Nov-12 18:46:47

I think I remember him being in an ep of Jonathan Creek as an artist. Might even have been the very first ep actually.

CuriousMama Mon 26-Nov-12 19:11:55

I wish I hadn't searched Colin's profile. sad he lost a son to SIDS. He campaigns for them now. It doesn't mention his daughters but didn't he say he has 4?

CuriousMama Mon 26-Nov-12 19:16:49

Read the last paragraph, seems Colin is an amazing judge of character!

wintera Mon 26-Nov-12 19:19:10

Aww I've just done the same thing too and was so sad to see he had lost a son to SIDS. How awful for him. Apparently it happened while he was doctor who in 1984. Hate hearing about things like that. My cousin lost her two year old daughter to SIDS about twenty years ago. Awful awful thing.

Oooo looks like Rosemary flips at Hugo? shock

'I'm through anyway' GOD> he needs to go angry

wintera Mon 26-Nov-12 20:48:02

I like Rosemary, I do, but I can imagine she might get on your tits a bit if you were with her all the time.

LadyBeagle Mon 26-Nov-12 21:02:20

Oh Bugger, I missed the beginning.
I thought it started at 9.00.

EnjoyResponsibly Mon 26-Nov-12 21:11:26

Oh for the love of feck, that bikini top was beyond ridiculous.

DyeInTheEar Mon 26-Nov-12 21:17:01

Bright red shiny lipstick and leopard print bra. Oh Helen. Makes me feel big sisterly protective and at the same time beyond irritated.

CuriousMama Mon 26-Nov-12 21:20:20

Rosemary and her whoops' grin

CuriousMama Mon 26-Nov-12 21:20:33

Rumpy pumpy grin

wintera Mon 26-Nov-12 21:22:09

It did look daft but she has got quite impressive knockers though hasn't she? Are they real? They look quite real!

Did anyone else see Dougie from Mcfly on This morning? He won last year I think. He slipped up and revealed something he shouldn't have. They were talking about hunger and lack of food and he said that they do get help with things because their bodies are detoxifying. He said something like 'oh yeah they help you out because everyone is going cold turkey from dairy and coffee etc so they give you stuff to help you through it'. Then he said 'oh I don't think I should have told you that actually'. And then they seemed to shut him up quite quickly . . . . . .

EnjoyResponsibly Mon 26-Nov-12 21:22:48

I think Ashley is a real contender for the crown.

Helen needs to go back to the hotel on Thursday. Not long enough to enjoy it, but close enough to the final she might think she's got a chance grin

CuriousMama Mon 26-Nov-12 21:23:23

Very interesting about Dougie, no I didn't see him.

grin at Rosemary and the massage. She's so funny.

LeeCoakley Mon 26-Nov-12 21:25:18

Normally there's two or three airhead blondes shoving their tits in everyone's faces but because Helen is the only one everyone is looking down their noses at her. She can't win whatever she does!

EnjoyResponsibly Mon 26-Nov-12 21:30:30

Yes but Lee if there were 3, we'd look down on all 3 no? The fact that she's the only one makes her look even more idiotic. Faced with Charlie and Ashley who are cool and going to make the final without sticking their boobs out, you'd think she'd re-think the "look at my tits" strategy.

LeeCoakley Mon 26-Nov-12 21:33:43

Oh yes, WE'D look down on them all grin. I meant the campmates. Like Hugo.

CuriousMama Mon 26-Nov-12 21:36:52

I wonder what we've missed she really seemed OTT there? Hugo was rather calm.

LadyBeagle Mon 26-Nov-12 21:38:31

I wish it was vote to leave, I can't stand Eric.

EnjoyResponsibly Mon 26-Nov-12 21:38:42

Could Hugo have been any less interested? grin

Blimey Rosie's gone postal now!

EnjoyResponsibly Mon 26-Nov-12 21:39:47

Kangaroo tail?

Boak, boak, boak, BOAK!!!!

wintera Mon 26-Nov-12 21:41:55

Rosemary seems really ratty tonight. Seemed like a complete over reaction that. But then we don't get to see everything.

I'm not sure Charlie will make the final now. She seems to be fading into the background.

CuriousMama Mon 26-Nov-12 21:42:21

The tail just looked like BBQ ribs. I'd have had it.

LeeCoakley Mon 26-Nov-12 21:44:56

Eric - 'Oh this'll be interesting' to Helen when it was her turn to say what jobs she'd had. He's such an arsehole.

CuriousMama Mon 26-Nov-12 21:47:12

Did he say that? I missed it.

wintera Mon 26-Nov-12 21:48:07

Didn't Helen start work at 9? I thought she started in Corrie when she was really young. Why didn't he say the same to Charlie? She and Helen basically have the same job surely?

LeeCoakley Mon 26-Nov-12 21:50:06

I can't believe Helen is going before Eric.

wintera Mon 26-Nov-12 21:52:34

Erm can't believe I'm saying this but I think, yes I think, erm I might miss her in the show . . . .

CuriousMama Mon 26-Nov-12 21:53:45

Aww I'll miss her too.

LadyBeagle Mon 26-Nov-12 21:53:56

Shame, She's really made me laugh in there, while Eric just lies in his hammock like a miserable fucker.
He's brought nothing to the programme.

EnjoyResponsibly Mon 26-Nov-12 21:54:46

Miss who?

PenelopePisstop Mon 26-Nov-12 21:54:57

She is a bit thick though, isn't she? "It's just crazy" to every question.

CuriousMama Mon 26-Nov-12 21:55:12

Who's voting for him?

MummysHappyPills Mon 26-Nov-12 21:57:06

It's a dull bunch left isn't it?!

EnjoyResponsibly Mon 26-Nov-12 21:58:02

She would have rather cut her own throat than say she wanted Ashley or Charlie to win, even after just having done that trial where she got Ashley to grope around for the bag of dollars.

CuriousMama Mon 26-Nov-12 21:59:51

I missed who she said she wanted to win? Blimey I've missed quite a bit tonight. I get easily distracted blush

LadyBeagle Mon 26-Nov-12 22:01:53

She want's David to win, Curious.

wintera Mon 26-Nov-12 22:02:46

She said she wanted David to win. Glad Hugo stayed. I find David a bit dull to be honest.

LeeCoakley Mon 26-Nov-12 22:03:15

Why are people getting snobby over Celeb? Someone else was slagging Joe Swash off for sounding 'thick'. Neither he nor Helen are pretending to be rocket scientists they are just being themselves.

kerstina Mon 26-Nov-12 22:04:04

I thought Ant and Dec were both married? Sounds like Dec is now single as there have been a lot of jokes about it.

LeeCoakley Mon 26-Nov-12 22:04:27

David's hardly in it. I couldn't remember earlier if he was still there.

wintera Mon 26-Nov-12 22:09:14

Ant is married but don't think Dec has ever been married. He was going out with Georgie from Sky sports for a while but they've split up.

Maryz Mon 26-Nov-12 22:37:32

ds2's face at that bra was hysterical grin.

I'm glad Helen has gone. She is very attention seeking.

I'm beginning to think that Eric must have some redeeming qualities confused. They all seem to like him.

And Rosemary was really not very nice to Hugo. She doesn't seem to accept that she does anything wrong.

CuriousMama Mon 26-Nov-12 22:46:02

I think I'd like Hugo to win now. I like the way he acted tonight. I know we don't see it all but he was very adult.

Thanks I hadn't heard her say David. Doesn't surprise me though.

Isn't it funny how our perceptions change?

wintera Mon 26-Nov-12 22:47:31

Agree about Rosemary, she seems to over react sometimes. And she goes on a bit as well doesn't she? That argument was over but she kept harping on even though Hugo was clearly not interested in carrying on with their row.

Consils Mon 26-Nov-12 22:50:54

My television has packed up. I went to watch it at a friend's tonight but I won't be able to after that so I will be relying on keeping up on here. I think that Hugo will go next. Who has the largest fanbase?

LadyBeagle Mon 26-Nov-12 22:53:03

I'd quite like to see Ashley to sneak in and win this.
I wonder if Nicole Shitsinger is watching her, she could learn some lessons in charm

ILoveOnionRings Mon 26-Nov-12 22:53:36

Apart from Helen all the other Clebs have said that they really like Eric when they are out and talking to Ant andDec. It makes you wonder how much editting is being done to make Eric look as bad as he is coming across. Colin yesterday really liked him.

CuriousMama Mon 26-Nov-12 23:03:46

Yes the editing is making Eric out to be the pantomime villain.

clam Mon 26-Nov-12 23:06:27

Editing aside, I thought Hugo did himself proud during that spat with Rosemary. I do like her but she was bang out of order with that. No idea why she thought she could browbeat him into admitting he was wrong/immature/whatever and he, quite pleasantly under the circumstances I thought, batted her away.

CuriousMama Mon 26-Nov-12 23:09:01

I could see ds1 acting like Hugo and he's 15. He just wouldn't rise to that at all.

SoleSource Mon 26-Nov-12 23:14:32

I really fancy Eric

LadyBeagle Mon 26-Nov-12 23:15:36

SoleSource, my love, you need help.

Maryz Mon 26-Nov-12 23:18:46

I'm for Ashley too.

Sole, have you not seen his nose? I mean, I don't want to be rude or anything and I hate commenting on appearance, but it's hard to miss grin

Hugo did well, against severe provocation. I'm amazed that not one of the others joined in though. I couldn't have just sat there.

Rosemary totally lost it but did admit on several occasions that she was having an irritable day.

I think a HUGE amount of editing goes on to make some choice sound bites. Eric is great for those, good & bad.

Helen sounded thick as when A&D were asking questions & basically neither understood or answered them!!

Ant is married, Dec not, but they live in the same street!!!

CuriousMama Mon 26-Nov-12 23:38:45

Awww did you see Charlie's dd on Now? she's a mini-me grin So cute bless her.

Mrsjay Tue 27-Nov-12 08:53:53

Oh for the love of feck, that bikini top was beyond ridiculous.

when a pussy cat doll is saying oh dear too much boobage you know it is time to put em away , grin

Glad helen went she was getting desperate lipstick and boobage and wanting to do a trial hmm

I did laugh when she said to David oh i did that 1 why are they doing it again cos you went in screamed at the poor ostrich and left,

the Rosemary /Hugo spat was that really over smelly leaves really ?

I am really annoyed charlie isnt doing anything no trials or tasks I really like her but she isn't doing anything , oh and yes her dd is a mini me she is adorable,

I have a feeling David is going to win

Mrsjay Tue 27-Nov-12 08:56:25

Rosemary and her whoops'

that was funny although the rest of the conversation was really cringey

Mrsjay Tue 27-Nov-12 08:58:19

coffee etc so they give you stuff to help you through it'. Then he said 'oh I don't think I should have told you that actually'. And then they seemed to shut him up quite quickly .

I think they get something in their drinking water and they do get gatorade (what is that an energy drink ? ) that information was from dougie on another programme grin

Felicitywascold Tue 27-Nov-12 09:10:54

Ashley, Charlie and David for the final...

Phaedra11 Tue 27-Nov-12 09:27:34

If I was Rosemary and the following happened...

Hugo had guessed I was 63 when I was 54.
Hugo had manipulated me into talking about my family losing all their money through a prank.
Hugo had said lovely things about my eyes but I then realised it had been a ploy to deflect me from the above.
Hugo was a smooth, slim, urbane, attractive 26 year old man who would have never been interested in me even when I was 26.

...then I'd have probably ended up getting irrationally moody with him!

Mrsjay Tue 27-Nov-12 09:45:29

Hugo did say he felt bad about rosemary spilling about her family that wasn't his intention and maybe rosemary shouldn't be spilling all to a stranger

reddwarf Tue 27-Nov-12 09:48:03

He didn't manipulate her into saying personal stuff about her family though, and he wasn't playing a prank out of meanness - it was park of a challenge to win them all a special tree, he was told to say that to her, and, because she is a warm and kind person, volunteered that info in order to comfort him, and he did say he felt awful about it.

wintera Tue 27-Nov-12 09:58:58

Erm to be fair I thought Rosemary was in her 60s. I'm shocked to hear she is 54. Really? 54?

Personally I think Eric had a point about Rosemary. She is not used to people answering her back. That's probably why she flies off the handle a bit when she is challenged, because she's not used to being spoken to like that. I still like her though, don't get me wrong.

To be honest I don't mind any of the ones that are left now. I don't even have a strong opinion on Eric either. I don't particularly like him but don't hate him either. David's a bit dull but nice enough. It might actually get a bit boring now with Helen gone!

Mrsjay Tue 27-Nov-12 10:00:19

Erm to be fair I thought Rosemary was in her 60s. I'm shocked to hear she is 54. Really? 54?

me too I thought 58ish to 62 I didnt think 54 . she does look older

Maryz Tue 27-Nov-12 10:06:04

I thought Rosemary was totally out of order yesterday. She carried it on, and on, and on, even after she said "let's agree to disagree ... but I'm right and you are a spoiled brat".

I thought she was much older too.

wintera Tue 27-Nov-12 10:13:32

I've just done a search for rosemary on google and one site said she was 60 and another said 61. That sounds about right to me, never would have thought she was 54 at all.

Mrsjay Tue 27-Nov-12 10:16:39

she said she had her daughter in her 20s (if i heard right) but her daughter looks late 20s

Maryz Tue 27-Nov-12 10:17:35

Oh, yes wintera, they have her down as 1951, which makes her 62, doesn't it?

So Hugo was more or less right. I bet they get told about each other before they go in, so he remembered she was 60-something.

Mrsjay Tue 27-Nov-12 10:17:52

I thought Rosemary was totally out of order yesterday. She carried it on, and on, and on, even after she said "let's agree to disagree ... but I'm right and you are a spoiled brat".

that is how she carried on when she did ladette to lady she would go on and on till the 'ladettes' did the eye rolling then she would see that and then go on some more grin

Maryz Tue 27-Nov-12 10:21:31

ds2 watched her last night, turned to me and said "mum, even at your worst you aren't as bad as her".

I wasn't sure whether to take it as a compliment or not confused

Mrsjay Tue 27-Nov-12 10:22:48

I wasn't sure whether to take it as a compliment or not

back handed compliment take it and run with it .

wintera Tue 27-Nov-12 10:26:54

Ha ha lol - like it!

When Hugo guessed her age she said something about only being five years older than Eric. Just looked on Wikipedia and it says Eric is 55 so that would make Rosemary 60 which seems right to me. Let's face it Hugo wasn't that far out to be fair but then again I am 38 and if someone guessed I was 41 I suppose I'd be pissed off too!

Maryz Tue 27-Nov-12 10:29:33

If Wikipedia is right (which is likely) she will be 62 in January. So actually 64 is a much better guess than 56.

Phaedra11 Tue 27-Nov-12 10:38:16

Ah yes, sorry. I'd seen this website which said Rosemary was born in January 1958 but it's obviously not a reliable source!

I like Hugo a lot and agree Rosemary was out of order. I also do realise that Hugo wasn't deliberately manipulating Roemary and that he felt really bad about it. I wasn't trying to defend Rosemary. It's just that I can sort of see that I might have a resentment towards him if I was her, even though it would be completely irrational and unfair. I hope I wouldn't behave like that though!

squoosh Tue 27-Nov-12 10:49:26

Yes, what was Rosemary on? She just wouldn't let it lie. I like Hugo too, although I have no doubt he is outrageously spoilt!

I'm surprised Rosemary is a Mum, I thought for sure that she was a spinster.

Maryz Tue 27-Nov-12 10:49:30

I do think she was resentful Phaedra. I think she isn't used to being argued with or disagreed with at all.

She lives alone, she works for herself, she is good at what she does. I suspect she is rarely contradicted by anyone so she has forgotten what it is like to live with people and have a bit of give and take.

She's great - funny and upbeat and interesting - as long as she gets her own way. If she is called on anything at all, she turns very quickly and can be quite intimidating, in a rather passive-aggressive way. I thought it was strange when she was accusing Hugo of being "irritable" -she was getting cross that he was allowing himself to be annoyed by her, instead of wondering whether she was deliberately annoying him, if that makes sense.

wintera Tue 27-Nov-12 10:51:20

What about Helen's classic line from last night?

'I go up a cup size after I eat!' smile

Maryz Tue 27-Nov-12 10:57:57

ds2 liked that too.

wintera Tue 27-Nov-12 10:58:55

Maryz - yes I agree I thought it was strange that she was saying it was Hugo that was irritable when it was clearly her that was in a bad mood and spoiling for a fight if you like. Hugo didn't seem to be in a bad mood at all, he was just making an observation and she pounced on him.

WhatTheFookIsGangnamStyle Tue 27-Nov-12 11:29:25

Hurrah Helen has gone. Sick of seeing her prodding her lip. Amazing how she gets through an episode of Corrie without doing that. Such an annoying habit. She can go up a cup size after she eats. grin How old is she again? As Eric said, Helen is daft!
Rosemary is great and I hope she will be in the final with Ashley and David.

chipstick10 Tue 27-Nov-12 11:49:14

Rosemary and ash are the only two that haven't been in the bottom two,not sure about Charlie, I can't remember if she has been in the bottom also. I would like it to be an all female finale actually although I wouldn't be upset if Hugo made it to the last. Rosemary pissed me off yesterday.

clam Tue 27-Nov-12 12:42:07

Helen was clearly gutted to be voted out. She tried to pass off her dismay as having just woken up but come on! How long does it take someone to get going in the morning? She's a vacuous airhead, but when I saw her mum preening and fussing over her on the Itv 2 after show, it all makes a bit more sense.

carabos Tue 27-Nov-12 12:57:09

Helen's face said it all last night - she couldn't believe it was her who had been voted out. I reckon she thought it was nailed on. Her shock was about the only genuine response we've seen from her throughout.

LadyBeagle Tue 27-Nov-12 13:00:37

Apparently she didn't turn up for the morning interview for Daybreak or This Morning, but no reason has been given by the Producers.

LeeCoakley Tue 27-Nov-12 16:07:25

Helen probably only does that to her lips once a day and they ALWAYS put it in. Everyone else may have worse habits but the producers choose to ignore them in the edit. Viewers are so manipulated. I don't know why I always stick up for her but in some ways she reminds me of dd2(17) whose looks are very important to her at this stage of life.

Eric has to go tonight. The purpose of the prolonged airing of the argument may have been to turn voters off Rosemary in which case it may be her but I hope not.

Mrsjay Tue 27-Nov-12 16:37:17

Apparently she didn't turn up for the morning interview for Daybreak or This Morning, but no reason has been given by the Producers.

she is probably getting her 'staff' to wash her down do her hair and spray her tan. OR her mother has told her people think she is a bit of a booby twit

clam Tue 27-Nov-12 18:42:40

"OR her mother has told her people think she is a bit of a booby twit"

Actually, I think not! Clearly her mother has spent the last 22 years bigging her up and not telling her any home truths whatsoever.

Rindercella Tue 27-Nov-12 19:10:35

Clam, I don't really watch Corrie, but isn't that exactly what her fictional mother was like as well?!

clam Tue 27-Nov-12 19:40:17

Well, I stopped watching Corrie about 5 years ago, but from what I remember of Rawsie, Helen doesn't appear to have needed to do much acting in the role.

LadyBeagle Tue 27-Nov-12 19:49:30

From what I remember from Corrie weren't 'the girls' always upstairs in their bedroom?

Maryz Tue 27-Nov-12 20:06:44

I can't find any news about her today, which is odd as usually the evictees are all over the place the day after they come out.

What are the odds that she will complain about her unfair treatment in a few days in some exclusive magazine article.

SoleSource Tue 27-Nov-12 20:40:06

Is Eric married?

LadyBeagle Tue 27-Nov-12 20:40:16

Is Eric allowed to bet on himself?

EnjoyResponsibly Tue 27-Nov-12 20:43:13

Sole seriously do you have anyone in RL you can talk to? This Eric thing is going too far grin

DyeInTheEar Tue 27-Nov-12 20:45:09

Maryz I wondered the same - whether the whole thing hadn't been the brilliant PR / career move she'd hoped & expected and is now lying low. I'm guessing she hoped she'd be seen as super hot vamp / Zoo material.

The thing is I think there was quite a lot of affection for her in the end - I certainly felt much more protective of her in the end. She stuck up for herself when Eric had a go at her and the fake tan thing was so funny but so childlike. If she felt brave enough to laugh at herself and stop worrying about vamping it up I think she'd do pretty well.

Interesting to hear what her mum was like with her - family dynamics and all that!

DyeInTheEar Tue 27-Nov-12 20:45:58

If it'd been my dd she'd have cried so loudly if I hadnt picked her door that I'd have heard her easily :-( :-(

MajesticWhine Tue 27-Nov-12 21:15:24

I'm missing it - what happened with Charlie's daughter?

SoleSource Tue 27-Nov-12 21:15:28

Is it just who always wonders which of Ant and Dec has tbe biggest dick?

Gigondas Tue 27-Nov-12 21:17:18

She was behind one of the doors- and thy picked the wrong one.

Usually I don't get fussed but whoever thought it was a good idea to upset and fuck about with a young girl is seriously stupid .

VivaLeBeaver Tue 27-Nov-12 21:17:41

There was a little girl behind one of the doors but they didn't pick that door. Very young kid like about 7yo, waiting to see if she might see her mum and she didn't.

SoleSource Tue 27-Nov-12 21:18:41

David is mixed heritage?

Jellykat Tue 27-Nov-12 21:18:46

Yes it is Sole, ya wazzock grin

Agree with everyone re. Charlies DD - very mean

SoleSource Tue 27-Nov-12 21:19:49

IAmLouisWalsh Tue 27-Nov-12 21:21:44

That was awful about Charlie's daughter. Just awful.

MajesticWhine Tue 27-Nov-12 21:21:58

I'd never thought about that Sole, but now its preying on my mind grin

VivaLeBeaver Tue 27-Nov-12 21:22:26

Charlie knows now. sad

Jellykat Tue 27-Nov-12 21:23:20

Poor Charlie..

SoleSource Tue 27-Nov-12 21:23:42

Majestic ;)

SoleSource Tue 27-Nov-12 21:25:46

I fancy Dave

Gigondas Tue 27-Nov-12 21:26:08

I just tweeted the programme which have never done - its one thing to involve adults , but small children angry

Gigondas Tue 27-Nov-12 21:27:12

Anyway back to working out who will go tonight

Gigondas Tue 27-Nov-12 21:27:29

And how to stop teething baby spilling my wine

SoleSource Tue 27-Nov-12 21:28:38

Rosemary looks alright in her cossie

AllTheYoungDudes Tue 27-Nov-12 21:29:01

Who's idea would it be to let a little girl do that.
Yeah sad and angry

And she''l see her Mum getting upset at not seeing her.

AllTheYoungDudes Tue 27-Nov-12 21:29:42

Tonight Hugo will go.

Jellykat Tue 27-Nov-12 21:31:25

You fancy everyone atm SoleCougar wink

Fair play re. tweet Gigondas, i don't think you'll be the only one!

SoleSource Tue 27-Nov-12 21:31:36

When is the last day of this programme? Friday, Saturday or Sunday?

theliverpoolone Tue 27-Nov-12 21:31:48

I hope Charlie goes so her daughter gets to see her.

SoleSource Tue 27-Nov-12 21:32:17

I do jelly wink lol

LadyBeagle Tue 27-Nov-12 21:35:05

Erm, I'll think you'll find David is mine Sole.
But I'll let you have Eric.

mynameis Tue 27-Nov-12 21:35:16

Gutted its not Hugo in the bath wink

DyeInTheEar Tue 27-Nov-12 21:36:00

Sole grin

Poor Charlie and DD. Her little foot stamp made me so sad for her.

I know, it's no excuse for missing out on the I'm a cleb thread.
I had a girl, Meredith, 7lb 13oz and beautiful. She's being good and snoozing so we can watch tonight

Just read through some of the last few pages, agree that Rosemary was OTT with hugo. She said he was irritable, he apologised then she kept going on and on angry

Charley's daughter is v cute, but cruel to do that to her

Jellykat Tue 27-Nov-12 21:36:14

I know which bit of Hugo-in-a-harness you're gawping at Sole grin

SoleSource Tue 27-Nov-12 21:37:02

Oh really Lady. Lol

I wonder if he is single and of course other stuff

SoleSource Tue 27-Nov-12 21:37:59

Ooooh Fatima!!!
Congratulations xxxxx aww

SoleSource Tue 27-Nov-12 21:38:35

Ye know me very well,.jelly lol

VivaLeBeaver Tue 27-Nov-12 21:38:41

Congrats Fatima. Love the name Meredith.

Gigondas Tue 27-Nov-12 21:38:57

Congrats fatima grin- lovely name.

grin I knew someone would mention Eric when Lusting started.

Jellykat Tue 27-Nov-12 21:39:37

Aaaw, a decent size Fatima, bet shes a sweetie! smile

MajesticWhine Tue 27-Nov-12 21:40:43

Congratulations - Meredith is a fab name

DyeInTheEar Tue 27-Nov-12 21:41:56

Meredith - gorgeous name. Congratulations!

SoleSource Tue 27-Nov-12 21:42:05

Your baby was 6lb 12oz heavier than my baby.

SoleSource Tue 27-Nov-12 21:43:33

Ahh man. That dinner looks gross.

Jellykat Tue 27-Nov-12 21:44:26

Eel, yuk! Never had it mind, its just the thought <boak>

Thank you <proud mum>

Wow really solesource?!

Mono1 Tue 27-Nov-12 21:50:13

See ya love. I'd kinda had enough of Rosemary. Bore off. Now I think it'll get really competitive.

LeeCoakley Tue 27-Nov-12 21:50:22

You cannot be serious.......

NOT ERIC??????

SoleSource Tue 27-Nov-12 21:50:51

Just Googled to find out what the breed of snakes they use in the tasks. Couldn't find out. But did come across an article statingtnat due to weather conditions, the animal experts expect greater.movement amongst the animals, poisonous snajes could enter tbe camp.

LadyBeagle Tue 27-Nov-12 21:51:11

I'm getting all the evictions wrong. I bet bloody Eric wins now.

Mono1 Tue 27-Nov-12 21:51:11

PS Fatima congrats- enjoy your little girl. Wish I'd thought of Meredith as a name 5 months ago!

Rindercella Tue 27-Nov-12 21:51:57

Wow, Rosemary has gone. Am shocked - but perhaps last night was her undoing. I sort of hoped Charlie would go, but only to see her DD. I thought it was awful what they did - both to Charlie and also to her 7 year old daughter. Very cruel.

Fatima. Massive congratulations on the birth of Meredith (great name). xx

Sole, you are a woman obsessed! I too was closely observing Hugo in a harness grin

SoleSource Tue 27-Nov-12 21:52:17

Yeah Fatima. DS was 4lb at six months old smile

Glad she gawn,.Rosemary.

SoleSource Tue 27-Nov-12 21:53:57

Rosemary hasn't had sex for twenty years.

Four here sad

Jellykat Tue 27-Nov-12 21:54:12

See ya Rosemary, she was a shouty mardy mare..

SoleSource Tue 27-Nov-12 21:56:25

Rindercella grin

god help the next man I trap

Mono1 Tue 27-Nov-12 21:56:49

Who are you voting for?

Rindercella Tue 27-Nov-12 21:59:13

Sole grin

Jellykat Tue 27-Nov-12 21:59:22

Four's nothing Sole, i did nine before XP!
I'll almost qualify for my pension if that happens again now.. bah

If i bothered to vote it would be Charlie here..

LineRunner Tue 27-Nov-12 22:01:22

I haven't had sex for ages.

But I bet I could.

DyeInTheEar Tue 27-Nov-12 22:03:02

So what's next for Rosemary - a jungle cookery book and maybe a bit of nooky.

I'd vote for Charlie because she's a LP and I'd like her to line up as much money for her and her DD as possible out of this - especially as they missed out on a cuddle.

SoleSource Tue 27-Nov-12 22:03:39

Eric. The things he.could achieve with that nose.

9 jelly.

LineRunner Tue 27-Nov-12 22:07:10

I like Charlie.

Then Ashley.

LadyBeagle Tue 27-Nov-12 22:07:29

David for me, though I really like Ashley.

Rindercella Tue 27-Nov-12 22:11:43

Line, exactly the same order for me too smile

LineRunner Tue 27-Nov-12 22:12:56

Yay smile

Eric is ... not for me.

Mono1 Tue 27-Nov-12 22:15:45

I will confess .... after a glass or two of vino collapso I have voted for Ashley. I like her. I think I'd like her or Charlie to win. I can't imagine how it'd feel to be that close to my wee ones and not see them.

Maryz Tue 27-Nov-12 22:17:20

That was terrible what they did to Charlie's daughter sad. I thought it was lovely though, that Eric's son reached over to take her hand, poor kid.

I'm not really surprised at Rosemary - she has gone from being enthusiastic to annoying (possibly the editiing, but still hmm).

I bet David thinks he is going to win, but I don't think I will. I'm still Team Ashley.

Congrats, Fatima, btw, but surely you don't let giving birth interfere with your mumsnetting time shock

clam Tue 27-Nov-12 22:33:33

Am I the only one wondering about the bandaging on Hugo's leg? I mentioned it earlier on, and whether it was as a result of him spilling his coffee when spooked by a spider. Yet he's done a couple of trials since and not whinged about it at all. On camera, at least.

Go Hugo!

wintera Tue 27-Nov-12 22:45:17

Yes I noticed the bandages too. I am also assuming its from the coffee spillage. He must have scalded himself quite badly as that was last week sometime wasn't it? It hasn't been mentioned since. I would imagine its been looked after by people who work on the show as in that environment it could get infected.

chipstick10 Tue 27-Nov-12 23:17:58

Hope david doesn't win. Not keen. Love ash Charlie and Hugo. Eric is gross.

deleted203 Wed 28-Nov-12 00:07:52

I seem to be the odd one out but I LOATHED Rosemary and I like Eric. She was bossy, irritating, patronising and rude - completely lacking in any self awareness of how arrogant it is to talk over the top of people, order them about and then come out with comments like, 'I'm a nice person. I AM'. She is really offensive to people's faces and then sits for the camera going, 'Oh but I absolutely adore Hugo, he's such a sweetie'. So two faced. Eric on the other hand couldn't give a shit about his PR. He is just blunt and says what he's thinking. I don't mind that at all - you know where you are with him, nothing two faced about it. He doesn't suffer fools gladly and, as my grandad used to say, 'calls a spade a bloody shovel'. Like him saying to Helen, 'You look bloody stupid' over the fake tan. Like Ashley said, he doesn't have a filter. If he thinks something then it comes out his mouth.

reddwarf Wed 28-Nov-12 03:54:30

No, I disagree with that (re Eric). There's a world of difference between calling a spade a spade - (being straightforward and honest), and being downright rude and unpleasant. The filter is an important tool for getting along within a community without unnecessarily hurting other people. Hugo for example was straight with Helen about her ridiculous bra, but he said it in a measured and thoughtful way.

This whole calling a spade a spade thing seems to be an excuse for riding roughshod over everone's feeling and at the same time getting applauded for being so straight talking. Don't like at all.

deleted203 Wed 28-Nov-12 04:11:24

Fair enough. But I reckon I could have stood Eric better in the jungle. I'd have had to hit Rosemary with the bloody shovel within a day or two!

bigTillyMint Wed 28-Nov-12 06:42:09

Missed IAC last night, so just catching up on the thread.

Just realised who Helen was/is - Corrie

Wiki says Rosemary was born in 51, daughter born 72 which makes the DD 40!

But what exactly happenend with Charlie's DD?

Mrsjay Wed 28-Nov-12 08:37:16

ooo Fatima you could have waited until celeb finished so you didnt miss any grin congrats thanks

I hated the behind the door challenge not fair on a little girl she did look like she knew it was a game IYSWIM, im sure she will be fine still didnt like it , anyway I am a bit sad Rosemary went thought it be Eric oh well

Mrsjay Wed 28-Nov-12 08:38:05

Rosemary's daughter is 40 shock she looks younger or maybe i just look like a sea hag grin

Mrsjay Wed 28-Nov-12 08:40:03

I would imagine its been looked after by people who work on the show as in that environment it could get infected.

Thats what I thought they are just keeping it covered so it doesn't get infected

Nancy66 Wed 28-Nov-12 09:00:30

Glad Rosemary's gone, she was a pain in the arse.

Ashley is my favourite. There's an underlying bitchiness with Charlie that I don't see in Ashley

Mrsjay Wed 28-Nov-12 09:03:55

do you think charlie has bitchiness in her I just think people annoy her and she sigh a lot I don't think she is bitchy but yes ashley is like a ray of sunshine she sort of wafts about being lovely grin

LIZS Wed 28-Nov-12 09:04:31

Apparently Helen is regretting participating now hmm Perhaps if she had acted her age instead of that of a child half it, she might have gained more respect. Bit of glamour work then sink without trace. Why is Eric still in there, who is voting for him ?

Mrsjay Wed 28-Nov-12 09:06:27

does she do a lot of FHM magazine ? I think she will be begging to go back into corrie she was a bit sheepinsh and looked nervous when she was on ITV2 last night

Nancy66 Wed 28-Nov-12 09:11:27

....i really like ERic!

Helen, if she has any sense, will milk it for all it's worth now. She's a shockingly shit actress and she's not going to get any work in that field.

noddyholder Wed 28-Nov-12 09:13:25

Thank god Charlie didn,t get to see her daughter they looked like big show biz little showbiz. A cockney Shirley temple.

noddyholder Wed 28-Nov-12 09:14:44

Rosemary an awful, over bearing woman. Love Hugo but hope Ashley or David win

theliverpoolone Wed 28-Nov-12 10:44:07

I agree with Nancy66, Ashley seems so genuinely lovely, you can't imagine her saying anything bitchy about anyone, whereas I don't get that feeling about Charlie......

The papers today are saying Helen pulled out of yesterday's morning interviews as she was having "anxiety issues" hmm. Couldn't be arsed getting out of her comfy bed, more like......(yes, I'm more of a Charlie than an Ashley grin).

recall Wed 28-Nov-12 11:11:26

Did anyone else cry at Charlie's reaction when she realised that her daughter was so close sad I'm ashamed to admit I was actually doing sobbing blushgrin and also, did anyone else belly laugh at Rosemary in the bath grin

noddyholder Wed 28-Nov-12 12:11:11

Charlie is a good actress nothing she says or does seems genuine to me I hope she goes next

chipstick10 Wed 28-Nov-12 12:38:32

I think Charlie's reaction was one hundred percent genuine.

noddyholder Wed 28-Nov-12 13:02:18

Really? I am surprised she seems so ott fake to me?

zukiecat Wed 28-Nov-12 13:29:10

Message withdrawn at poster's request.

CuriousMama Wed 28-Nov-12 14:17:23

I don't think Charlie was being fake about her dd. I'd have been a mess if my dss had been behind a door. I haven't seen any bitchiness in her? I would imagine they all get tetchy in there? It's well edited though, we only see a small amount. Rosemary mentioned Hugo with the bag and hot cinders, had we seen that? I don't think so.

girliefriend Wed 28-Nov-12 14:19:20

I was properly crying when they did that doors challenge last night sad poor kid, really unfair to do that to a young child sad It made me think of the Truman show really mucking about with people emotions for the entertainment benefit.

I bet that little girl cried her heart out when she didn't see her mummy, my dd would have done. Thought Ant and Dec were quite heartless about the whole thing tbh angry

Mrsjay Wed 28-Nov-12 15:06:59

I dont think charlie was faking she looked upset but I think they are a really tight mother and daughter though I think kiki (daft name) will be fine,

noddyholder Wed 28-Nov-12 15:21:56

I think she is an actress. There is no way the producers would have been able to 'use' her daughter in the show without parental permission.

Mrsjay Wed 28-Nov-12 15:23:32

There is no way the producers would have been able to 'use' her daughter in the show without parental permission.

they would have got permission for whoever was looking after her I would think

Mrsjay Wed 28-Nov-12 15:23:57

FWiw i still think it was a horrible game,

noddyholder Wed 28-Nov-12 15:24:29

She knew it was her daughter behind there she assumed that as it could have been her mum! She gave permission most celebs will exploit anyone/thing to raise their profile.I do think she is playing a very smart game though

LadyBeagle Wed 28-Nov-12 15:31:45

Kiki will be fine, I'm sure she was told what the deal was and realised it was a game she might lose.
She's with her grandparents and having the holiday of a lifetime, and will see her mum in a few days.grin.

Mrsjay Wed 28-Nov-12 15:33:26

I also think Kiki will be fine eric son was shushing her and she looked like she knew it was all a game she looks a fiesty little girl if im honest dont think this will scar her at all,

I just felt it was a bit of a cruel game I dont think they have done anything like that before,

Rindercella Wed 28-Nov-12 15:44:19

I had a horse called Kiki once grin

I like Charlie. I think she is genuine. She hasn't been the least bit bitchy - I just don't know where that comment has come from? She was the one who stopped and questioned whether they should really subject the 2 new camp mates to a night of hell when everyone else said they should leave them to it. She has come across as sweet and the total opposite of her EE character. I don't think she's done enough to win though.

Want Charlie, Ashley & Hugo in the last 3. Eric out tonight, David tomorrow.

Really want Eric out tonight. What's the betting that whoever goes out, Eric will go... "mumble, mumble....see! I was right again.". hmm

deleted203 Wed 28-Nov-12 17:08:31

I quite like Charlie, but I do think she has been....not bitchy perhaps, but two faced? There were a lot of earlier comments to Helen about 'oh babe - it's fine...we love you sooo much and we are all supporting you 100%' and then she would go in the shed and be saying to the camera 'She gave it 100% - for what? Ten seconds? I mean seriously! She's such a drama queen'....

I don't mind the comments and Charlie's quite upbeat and cheery - but have the balls to say it to Helen's face! I reckon that's why I don't mind Eric. There's no pretence about him. I loved it when he had the balls to say to Helen 'We're not glad you came. We're fucking starving'....I'd have been the one saying to Helen 'Oh for fuck's sake! You got NO meals AGAIN for camp??? How hard exactly did you try?'. What I can't stand is all this false 'OMG - we are ALL behind you SOOOOO much - we know you'll give it your all' for the camera and then slagging them off behind their back 5 mins later. (Charlie's not the only one, TBH that does that - everyone on reality TV nowadays comes out with such cliches that it's hard to take).

I like David best I reckon. Big and calm and laid back. Doesn't seem to argue or get excited about anything. Ashley seems really genuine too. Hugo has grown up a bit, but he's still too weepy and posh for me. I'm oop North and a bit bemused by adult men who cry!

minxthemanx Wed 28-Nov-12 19:55:24

I can't stand Eric, sorry - uncouth and unkind. I don;t find him that funny. Rosemary in the bath was hilarious, but am glad she's gone as a bit overpowering. really hope Eric goes tonight - quite happy for anyone else to win, tho I suspect it'll be David. Or Ashley as dark horse.

LineRunner Wed 28-Nov-12 19:58:20

Does anyone else remember Eric's dart playing girlfriend Maureen Flowers?

chipstick10 Wed 28-Nov-12 20:44:11

Maureen flowers rings a bell I will have to google. I couldn't stand him when he played darts, not much has changed

DyeInTheEar Wed 28-Nov-12 21:16:51

Ashley and Charlie are great.

LineRunner Wed 28-Nov-12 21:18:47

She had long blonde hair and played ladies' darts for England. She was glamorous in a ladies' darts way.

EnjoyResponsibly Wed 28-Nov-12 21:22:54

Arf @ Hugos comment about bashing one out grin

I'd cut Charlie a lot of slack on hire comments about the utter idiot that was Helen. It was evident that you had to be nice to her to avoid the sort of histrionics she levelled at Limahl.

If I'd gone in that hut after she bottled yet another task I'd have blown the bloody doors off with the level of vitriol.

chipstick10 Wed 28-Nov-12 21:29:43

I googled Maureen flowers but I must've been thinking of someone else. Don't remember her.
I love ash she's lovely

chipstick10 Wed 28-Nov-12 21:39:58

Ash is a real team player isn't she!! I like her muchly

LightHousekeeping Wed 28-Nov-12 21:42:42

Erics growing on me confused

chipstick10 Wed 28-Nov-12 21:50:36

Hugo before Eric or David!!!!? Wtf?

wintera Wed 28-Nov-12 21:56:51

Can't believe it was between Hugo and David! Bit gutted about Hugo going, I really like him. I've always liked tall lanky types though me . . . .

chipstick10 Wed 28-Nov-12 22:06:05

Oh god I've got a horrid feeling Eric will win.

Felicitywascold Wed 28-Nov-12 22:07:01

Glad Hugo's gone, Eric tomorrow please.

Then David, then Charlie.

Ashley to win. But I want Charlie to come close, she's been great. Kind, cheerful, down to earth but not quite pushy enough to win- she's been desperate to do a trial for days but allowed Ashley to overpower her and say she was going (before they said there were 2 people in it!).

ajandjjmum Wed 28-Nov-12 22:20:36

I couldn't bear Eric to win. Who the devil is voting for him?

LadyBeagle Wed 28-Nov-12 22:21:38

Yuk, Eric still in?
I know Helen was annoying, but in her interview last night on ITV2 she admitted to having acne and used a medication for it. Which apparently made her lips dry which is why she was always patting them because she was applying ointment.
He was so nasty about her skin, what kind of middle aged bloke would mention that to a young girl half his age.
I hate the 'he calls a spade a spade' theory, no, he's just rude, hurtful and nasty.
I hope he goes tomorrow, but I wouldn't bet on it.

wintera Wed 28-Nov-12 22:25:14

Eric has got to be out tomorrow surely? Final three should be Ashley, Charlie and David.

sassytheFIRST Wed 28-Nov-12 22:30:09

David will win but I'd like either of the girls to. All of the last 6 have been immensely likeable and got stuck in - just shows that the voting public can get it right sometimes!

chipstick10 Wed 28-Nov-12 22:47:53

Britain is going mad at the moment as far as I can see. Nanfucker is storming to the final on xf and Eric is sidling into the final on I'm a celeb, wtf???? Who are the people voting for these arses I demand to know.

WhatTheFookIsGangnamStyle Wed 28-Nov-12 23:55:05

My favourite to win now is Ashley. I would also quite like Eric to win. At least he is not two faced and if he has got something to say he has the balls to say it. And if Hugo likes him then thats good enough for me.

ajandjjmum Thu 29-Nov-12 08:25:52

Might not be two faced, but to tell an immature, acne prone 22 year old that her head it one big spot that he'd like to squeeze is an unforgivable comment in my book. Helen was very irritating, but by the time you're in your fifties you should be able to cope with that without being offensive. I don't think it's that he's got the balls to say it, I think that he just doesn't have the sensitivity not to!

Nancy66 Thu 29-Nov-12 08:39:23

David has been in the bottom two a few times now so I don't think he will win...

Maryz Thu 29-Nov-12 08:43:06

We still don't know, though, whether it is actually the "bottom two" do we?

I sort of thought last night they said it wasn't Eric or Charlie first, because those were the two everyone expected to be in the bottom.

Also, I think being named bottom two last night will help David tonight, as everyone will think he's in danger and his fans will vote.

I'm aware this is a very confused message, but I can't think how to put it better confused.

Nancy66 Thu 29-Nov-12 08:45:43

I get you. I think begin named as 'bottom two' does help you stay in the next night.

Doing a trial helps too and I imagine David will insist he does the next one

Nancy66 Thu 29-Nov-12 08:46:12

...although I think it might be the group trial tonight

ajandjjmum Thu 29-Nov-12 08:51:50

That goodness it finishes on Saturday - I need to get back to real life!!

Felicitywascold Thu 29-Nov-12 09:16:36

At least he is not two faced and if he has got something to say he has the balls to say it. And if Hugo likes him then thats good enough for me.

There is a huge difference between saying things that are true and honest and just thinking up rude things to say. Ie, 'you shouldn't do a trial, we're hungry and you will fail' is true and honest and serves a purpose, 'you are like a giant spot, your skin is so horrible' is rude and unnecessary.

Eric only started with this 'straight talking' when the votes started - he is trying to get screen time so he stays in, it's so calculated.

mynameis Thu 29-Nov-12 09:25:46

Didn't get to watch last night but have been envy at pics of Hugos girlfriend and her enthusiastic greeting

Would like to see Ashley or Charlie win now.

Mrsjay Thu 29-Nov-12 09:49:37

my recording clashed so didnt see him at the end saw the start of his interview, sad that he has gone would loved to have seen him in the final , David haye is just being david haye world champion boxer, Meh

did anybody see itv2 last night ? oh rosemary was a right PITA she didnt seem so endearing wittering on ,

Nancy66 Thu 29-Nov-12 09:58:42

rosemary doesn't listen to anyone - she's somebody that's never learnt when to shut the fuck up

Mrsjay Thu 29-Nov-12 10:00:41

he's somebody that's never learnt when to shut the fuck up

<nods> oh she would not shut up and kept talking to camera I liked her 2 days ago (fickle)

Nancy66 Thu 29-Nov-12 10:01:49

thought it was amusing that she constantly interrupted people, talked over them, shouted them down, dismissed their opinions and - yet - THEY were all being rude according to her.

pinkteddy Thu 29-Nov-12 11:14:03

On the ITV 2 show they refer to the bottom two so I believe they are the people with the lowest votes.

wintera Thu 29-Nov-12 11:49:18

They are definitely the bottom two, with the least votes. I think Ant and Dec clarified it the other night.

Rindercella Thu 29-Nov-12 12:48:18

I think Rosemary came across even worse on ITV2 last night than she did when she was in the jungle. She doesn't know when to stop talking. Also, my enduring memory of her in the jungle will be of her scooping fruit out and eating it having just butchered a possum, with its fresh blood still dripping from her fingers. Boaktastic and just proof that some TV cooks know bugger all about basic hygiene.

How Eric is still in there God only knows. Who is voting for him? (in fairness, I don't vote at all so I shouldn't really complain)

Charlie or Ashley to win.

noddyholder Thu 29-Nov-12 13:17:49

Rosemary was dreadful.

Jellykat Thu 29-Nov-12 19:05:58

OMG - I've been confusing Rosemary with Clarissa Dickson Wright, the later is on The One Show now and they're very similar..
So Which one was one of the two fat ladies? and who is Rosemary?

Jellykat Thu 29-Nov-12 19:07:23

chipstick10 Thu 29-Nov-12 20:42:27

Eric's son is said to be furious with the way his dad is being edited by itv according to the sun newspaper today. He says his dad is being portrayed as a bully and that he is definitely not a bully. Whatevs.

SoleSource Thu 29-Nov-12 20:43:40

Nothing beats a nice big pair of Eric moobs pwoar. Imagine the fun!

LineRunner Thu 29-Nov-12 20:44:21

LineRunner Thu 29-Nov-12 21:16:39

Do NOT NOT attempt the eggs benedict breakfast at Wetherspoons unless you seriously don't give a shit about the actual food that enters your mouth.

SoleSource Thu 29-Nov-12 21:17:46

I fancy the shopkeeper.

LadyBeagle Thu 29-Nov-12 21:18:00

Eric gave Ashley all the chocolates, and turned out quite pleasant.
He's playing us now, it 's his final game plan.

Jellykat Thu 29-Nov-12 21:20:46

Bet they were Fatima wink

That sounds like a health risk Line, i'll give that a wide berth!

Sole What did i say the other day?? grin

SoleSource Thu 29-Nov-12 21:48:30

LadyBeagle Thu 29-Nov-12 21:51:10

SoleSource Thu 29-Nov-12 21:51:19

Daves moobs are nothing in comparison sad

LeeCoakley Thu 29-Nov-12 21:51:41

It was the rag on his head that did it.

LadyBeagle Thu 29-Nov-12 21:55:10

Sole, you are a sad, sad person.grin.
David or Eric.
Eric or Dave.
What can I say?
Though TBH I wouldn't mind an all girl final two (with Ashley to win).

SoleSource Thu 29-Nov-12 21:56:02

SoleSource Thu 29-Nov-12 21:57:00

David to win!!!!

wintera Thu 29-Nov-12 21:57:54

His last comment about Rosemary was rather funny.

SoleSource Thu 29-Nov-12 21:59:13

Eric's agent or equivalent has lawyers discussing Eric's portrayal on programme

Jellykat Thu 29-Nov-12 22:00:04

Oh i missed the Rosemary comment - was wondering if Sole fancies Nanfucker grin

SoleSource Thu 29-Nov-12 22:01:14

Who is Nanfucker?

LadyBeagle Thu 29-Nov-12 22:01:26

Good question Jelly.
Do you Sole?

SoleSource Thu 29-Nov-12 22:01:45

Oooh the guy on X Factor lol

LadyBeagle Thu 29-Nov-12 22:03:13

Christopher Maloney on the X factor thread, Sole.
You'll have to come and join us.

SoleSource Thu 29-Nov-12 22:12:50

I shall Lady, thanks. Final this week isn't ut?

LadyBeagle Thu 29-Nov-12 22:17:06

Semi final.
Brilliant thread though.

Maryz Thu 29-Nov-12 22:18:04

I think Eric was probably much nicer than portrayed.

Because everyone who left said he was. Even Hugo got on with him. So maybe they all knew that his comments were deliberately sarky, but meant as fun, maybe?

Mrsjay Thu 29-Nov-12 22:39:07

I think Eric was probably much nicer than portrayed.

probably I never hated him just thought he was grumpy and had a big mouth they had to edit that way, he is a bit of geezer though grin do like the final I really really dont want david to win he wont get his head on the plane, (sorry lady beagle )

Mrsjay Thu 29-Nov-12 22:40:10

I havn't watched Xfactor this year why do they all hate that christopher fella it has been int he paper simon cowell wants him beheaded

WhatTheFookIsGangnamStyle Thu 29-Nov-12 22:49:31

I agree Maryz.
I was sad to see Eric go tonight and would have liked to seen him in the final 3. He has his faults like everyone else but he has a good heart. All the campmates liked Eric, including Hugo and they saw more of his character and personality than the snippets we saw on tv. Eric was quite sweet when he said on video tape that he enjoyed Hugo's company and would miss him if he left.
It was lovely to see Charlie enjoying her 4 minute phone call with Kiki. How sweet that Kiki wants to be princess of the jungle.

Wingedharpy Fri 30-Nov-12 03:08:25

Kiki should be at school.

ajandjjmum Fri 30-Nov-12 08:14:38

Very glad to see the back of Eric.

Rindercella Fri 30-Nov-12 10:34:00

Very pleased Eric went. Whatever he, his son, or his agent say about how badly he was portrayed, there are still words he said that cannot be unsaid. Such as the comments he made to Helen about squeezing her head.

It's true, just about everybody in the camp did seem to like him and they got to know him an awful lot better than we did. But I guess what I don't like about him is that if you're a woman you have to be super attractive for him to be kind to you. If you're a woman and not so attractive, he will be nasty. He even made a comment about Charlie's weight last night...can't remember exactly what it was, but it wasn't great. And also, when he was leaving and Charlie went to give him a hug, he told her to get off him. Didn't hear him say that to Ashley.

So a barely comprehensible, quite unattractive (sorry Solo!), overweight man with moobs and awful teeth, will only be nice to women who he fancies and has zero interest in any other woman there. And then a very attractive man with probably the best body that's ever been on IACGMOOH (was David naked in the shower? Can't say I remember that!!), is pleasant and civil to everyone in the camp, regardless of their age or looks.

Thought Hugo was lovely last night. This will have done his career an enormous amount of good, as well as his own personal belief and confidence. Can't help but think it will have damaged Helen and Rosemary's careers terribly.

Charlie & Ashley in the last two, probably Ashley to win I think.

LadyBeagle Fri 30-Nov-12 12:46:02

Can't say I noticed David in the shower at all, oh no not me.blush
I just want him to win because he seems like a lovely bloke.
I'm not shallow you know grin

CuriousMama Fri 30-Nov-12 12:49:49

I don't mind who wins out of those 3 tbh.

David in the shower though, oh my. Wonder how they'll get the calendar printed in time? wink I could always make my own 'suppose? grin

Mrsjay Fri 30-Nov-12 12:49:53

Can't say I noticed David in the shower at all, oh no not me.
I just want him to win because he seems like a lovely bloke.
I'm not shallow you know

oh well you missed as nice peachy bottom shame you missed it grin

DyeInTheEar Fri 30-Nov-12 14:05:23

David was in the shower?? Gah - that's the absolutely last time I let DH watch Master chef.

CuriousMama Fri 30-Nov-12 17:37:39

When I look at it I have a raging desire to bite his bum blush

Mrsjay Fri 30-Nov-12 17:40:38

oh you have to do it i am sure you wil have many happy friends this Christmas . I have the urge to lick it blush

CuriousMama Fri 30-Nov-12 17:44:35

Yes but no doubt they're OHs will complain?

Licking would be prefered most likely? wink

Rindercella Fri 30-Nov-12 18:21:00

Honestly, I don't know...all this fuss about a naked man! shock

I just have a raging desire for his body

There's not a thing wrong with that body is there? Not a lump, bump or anything else out of place. <sigh>

Maryz Fri 30-Nov-12 20:30:57

Ah, yes, Rinders, but he knows it.

Which puts me off a very, very, very small bit

Jellykat Fri 30-Nov-12 21:06:06

Evening laydees smile

LadyBeagle Fri 30-Nov-12 21:06:51

So who goes tonight?

SoleSource Fri 30-Nov-12 21:07:07

Evening trollops [grinny]

I miss Eric.

Jellykat Fri 30-Nov-12 21:08:43

Woah, Ashley was bang on re. Davids arse eh? grin

SoleSource Fri 30-Nov-12 21:09:38

I wonder if there is a MNetter who has had their wicked way with Ant or Dec?

Mono1 Fri 30-Nov-12 21:09:51

3 weeks ago I never thought I'd say this but I think I will miss Eric a wee bit.
Ashley to win
Charlie to go tonight.

Jellykat Fri 30-Nov-12 21:12:16

Wouldn't reckon so Sole, but you never know on here, stranger things have happened grin..

LadyBeagle Fri 30-Nov-12 21:13:00

I'd like David and Ashley in the final two.
Then I'd be happy for either of them to win.
I like Charlie, she's just a bit meh.

SoleSource Fri 30-Nov-12 21:15:03

Might be able to answer my question then jelly.

Cannot get it out of my mind.

Rindercella Fri 30-Nov-12 21:20:15

Sole, I had a rather hmm blush dream about them once. Both together, with me. Does that count? grin

Jellykat Fri 30-Nov-12 21:21:38

What are you like?..

Oo i wouldn't like this well task.. What is that big creature?

LadyBeagle Fri 30-Nov-12 21:23:18

That cute little furry thing was a bandicoot apparently.
I heard it on This Morning

SoleSource Fri 30-Nov-12 21:23:46

Ronder,.sou.ds intetesting. Lets take thisto PM, shall we,?

It's David's snake jelly [perv]

CuriousMama Fri 30-Nov-12 21:24:16

Poor David getting bitten.

Jellykat Fri 30-Nov-12 21:24:35

Ah thanks LadyB, i've never seen one before!

I'd like an Ashley and David final two although I'm happy with any of these three winning.

One week ago I'd only just pushed a baby out of my fanjo and now she's having a good bit of boob while I enjoy David's bum

Jellykat Fri 30-Nov-12 21:26:44

You wish Sole wink

Rindercella Fri 30-Nov-12 21:28:06

Oh bugger that - sealing the well up <shudder>

SucksToBeMe Fri 30-Nov-12 21:29:37

I want Charlie to win. David seems to think its in the bag, I feel he's holding back. Plus I come from a boxing family and never heard much good about him. Ashley and Charlie are really surprised that their in the final three.

SoleSource Fri 30-Nov-12 21:31:23

Lol jelly

Rinder lol

Jellykat Fri 30-Nov-12 21:35:34

Agree re. Charlie Sucks, and can well believe Davids got a bad rep, he is arrogant - still got a nice arse tho, but he shouldn't win because of that, he does seems a bit devoid of personality imo..

DyeInTheEar Fri 30-Nov-12 21:40:24

Love love love Charlie. Hope it's an all girl final. Though fully appreciate David's bum.

LightHousekeeping Fri 30-Nov-12 21:42:33

My brothers both love their boxing and wont watch this because Davids in it!! whats his rep supposed to be? he seems alright on here. The three that are left do they need a career boost? I wouldnt have thought so. Thats what I like about this one.

SoleSource Fri 30-Nov-12 21:42:56

David's bum wins!!

He should walk booty naked backwards across the bridge. Zoom lens stylee.

chipstick10 Fri 30-Nov-12 21:44:19

Not keen on David, think he plays to the camera too much.

Rindercella Fri 30-Nov-12 21:49:09

grin at Ashley for thanking her Dad for giving a good squirt to make her the most attractive camp mate!

CuriousMama Fri 30-Nov-12 21:50:21
LeeCoakley Fri 30-Nov-12 21:51:35

I don't like Charlie because of her two-facedness with Helen. Ashley to win now. Originally I'd have liked Linda to win but I don't think she got enough exposure. This year has been boring compared to other years. Not enough tension between campmates for me!

SoleSource Fri 30-Nov-12 21:52:26

SoleSource Fri 30-Nov-12 21:56:18

DyeInTheEar Fri 30-Nov-12 21:58:23

I'd have been the same with Helen though as Charlie. I'd wouldn't have had a go at her like Eric did because she was just too emotional and immature - but I'd have been frustrated enough with her to have to let off steam ... so I can't judge Charlie for that. I love her - but think Ashley will win.

David's bum grin

Rindercella Fri 30-Nov-12 21:59:34

<fans self>

Still don't want him to win though. Slightly dull (despite the body) and slightly arrogant.

Rindercella Fri 30-Nov-12 22:02:24

Also re Charlie and Helen. I think if you had any sense you wouldn't purposely cause arguments or tension in the camp. It's a small, confined space where you're with virtual strangers 24 hours a day. Best to avoid conflict if you can help it.

CuriousMama Fri 30-Nov-12 22:02:31

Oh dear he's the next Vinny Jones grin From sport to acting hmm

sailorsgal Fri 30-Nov-12 22:03:50

I did hear that it would be Helen that would make the most money out of this which surprised me.

I don't know who I want to win.

SoleSource Fri 30-Nov-12 22:05:48

David is now my mobile wallpaper. (pwoar)

LadyBeagle Fri 30-Nov-12 22:06:29

I'd go and see him in a movie.
A Diehard thing I think, or the first black James Bond.

sailorsgal Fri 30-Nov-12 22:08:49

Is Charlie single??

LightHousekeeping Fri 30-Nov-12 22:10:14

I think shes divorced and has a new boyfriend.

Is David?

DyeInTheEar Fri 30-Nov-12 22:10:22

She's a single mum but I think she's dating someone because she was having a "I'm desperate to get it on with my fella" chat with Ashley.

SucksToBeMe Fri 30-Nov-12 22:10:39

He would make a really good James Bond LadyBeagle!

CuriousMama Fri 30-Nov-12 22:17:44

As long as he gets his kit off he can be whatever he wants to be blush Preferably a stripper though.

nancy75 Fri 30-Nov-12 22:18:01

David has a lovely wife and 2 young children

CuriousMama Fri 30-Nov-12 22:18:15

LightHousekeeping Fri 30-Nov-12 22:19:37

Im surprised by this outcome but, Im pleased.

Now we just have to see how many Eastenders fans are out there voting.

I want Ashley to win.

CuriousMama Fri 30-Nov-12 22:21:17

I think I might vote as want Ashley to win.

nancy75 Fri 30-Nov-12 22:21:34

Sorry sole!

DrRanj Fri 30-Nov-12 22:22:08

I want Ashley to win too. Really don't like Charlie. She seems really insincere.

sailorsgal Fri 30-Nov-12 22:22:57

I never heared David mention his wife and kids though he didn't ever hit on any of the girls.

I want Ashley to win, may have to vote

LightHousekeeping Fri 30-Nov-12 22:24:13

I guess we might get to see them in a minute.

chipstick10 Fri 30-Nov-12 22:24:15

I like how supportive ash and Charlie are to each other and how comfortable they are with themselves.

nancy75 Fri 30-Nov-12 22:25:36

His wife is not there, I think its his mum

LadyBeagle Fri 30-Nov-12 22:25:48

Well I'll be voting Ashley now.

chipstick10 Fri 30-Nov-12 22:25:58

A queen of the jungle. Yay

chipstick10 Fri 30-Nov-12 22:27:46

The public have done the right thing here can they just do it with xf now and vote off nanfucker

Jellykat Fri 30-Nov-12 22:29:29

Agree 100% chipstick!

SoleSource Fri 30-Nov-12 22:53:21

David got married in 2008.

His wife is Natasha

LadyBeagle Fri 30-Nov-12 23:04:01

I wonder why she's not out there with him.

squoosh Fri 30-Nov-12 23:07:43

He's married???

SoleSource Fri 30-Nov-12 23:10:58

He left her for me Lady.

True fact

wintera Fri 30-Nov-12 23:12:45

Maybe they didn't want to take the kids out of school or something? Some schools are a lot stricter than others as well. I've seen a few comments either on here, or on other forums mentioning the fact that Charlie's daughter should be in school etc. Maybe they didn't want to open themselves up to criticism.

WhatTheFookIsGangnamStyle Fri 30-Nov-12 23:13:08

I want Ashley to be Queen of the Jungle. She is super sweet and the best contender.

chipstick10 Fri 30-Nov-12 23:18:29

I want ash to win as well. She has been a brill team player. She's positive and sweet without being yucky. The itv2 team seem to want Charlie to win, so does Eric and mark wright.

LadyBeagle Fri 30-Nov-12 23:31:12

Yes I've just watched that Chipstick.
They'll all Londoners though, and Joe Swash knows her from EE.
I hope Charlie isn't chosen just because she's British.

Mrsjay Sat 01-Dec-12 09:53:10

h, yes, Rinders, but he knows it.

oh of course he knows it shameless gettign the buttocks out but hey ho was nice to look at , he is ok just really arrogant and full of himself but <sigh>

I really want Ashley to win but think it might be charlie

MaryChristmaZEverybody Sat 01-Dec-12 09:54:06

I think Charlie will win because of the massive Eastenders vote. And to be fair, she has done nothing wrong.

I just love Ashley, though, and have supported her from the start. If I could vote it would be for her.

The acting thing explains why David is there, doesn't it? I couldn't work out why he had bothered - and I too would enjoy an action film with him in it. Preferably involving a bit of stripping.

Mrsjay Sat 01-Dec-12 09:57:32

she has done nothing wrong.

no she hasn't put a foot wrong at all just Ashley is just lovely and not in a false sickly way either, I was reading somewhere else that somebody wanted charlie to win but think ash will have all the PCD votes most people who like her were not PCD fan ,

Yes he is obviously retiring ( or has he retired ) and wants to go into acting like other sports people, I was a bit confused the only actor i can think of is Vinnie jones and he was just guy ritchies mate . but yes some nakedness in a film wouldnt be too shabby

i feel sorry for charlie, and do like ashley and was very surprised david went out, he looked gutted.

loved ashley's comment thanking her dad for giving the squirt grin #
gives a whole new meaning to the term you little squirt grin

Mrsjay Sat 01-Dec-12 10:02:12

why do you feel sorry for Charlie ? yes he did look gutted and a bit baffled didnt he, he had done the trial to save the 'girls' from doing something gross and everything wink O that bandicoot was evil but tbf if somebody had their hands in my face id bite them too grin

MaryChristmaZEverybody Sat 01-Dec-12 10:03:06

You haven't forgotten Sylvester Stallone, have you Mrs Jay? You know that boxer turned shockingly bad actor who made millions grin

Yes, Ashley is one of those rare things in showbusiness, a genuinely nice person. And she is lovely looking, with a fantastic figure (and a great sense of humour). Even without make-up and with no silicone, she looks lovely which makes her a great role model for young girls.

I have been commenting on her figure a lot to dd, and the episode with Helen's push-up bra was fantastic. dd is 16 and a lot of her friends seem to think that an E cup is normal, and they are all too small, so to see someone like Ashley is very good for them.

Mrsjay Sat 01-Dec-12 10:08:51

was he a Boxer really ? didnt know that although I try and not think about sly that much ,

I do think Ashley is a fab role model for girls she is just lovely and just wafts about with her lovliness, grin dd2 is 14 and she adores her and she laughed at helens comedy boobs in that Bra, Girls need women like Ashley and Charlie to an extent that you dont need to get em out and you can be a funny natural person without all the fakery and pouting,

Mrsjay Sat 01-Dec-12 10:09:46

Even though Ahsley was a Pussy cat Doll and sang dotcha and danced about in very ittle

I think I feel sorry for charlie because she is Not Ashley, who of course is lovely. but i hope charlie doesnt get the english vote just because.. hmm, but woudl people vote for an American, even if she is lovely, and funny and aboslutely NOT a diva.

MaryChristmaZEverybody Sat 01-Dec-12 10:26:42

Yes, you can be a Pussy Cat Doll and sing silly songs and dance about in very little and still be a down to earth, really nice person. And have a lovely body without falsity (is that a word?) and be able to sing (which quite frankly is rare these days).

I see what you mean by Ashley not being Charlie slarty. She is a tad more attractive, a tad nicer, a tad funnier, a tad more clever. Like an improved (and more exotic) Charlie. And Ashley wouldn't be a bad actor either, judging by the shrieking at a monster scene.

Mrsjay Sat 01-Dec-12 10:48:00

I do think falsity is a word confused I am hoping to be in pjs with wine for the final ,

LightHousekeeping Sat 01-Dec-12 11:22:51

I can see Ashley becoming an actress.

These Pussycat Dolls, what can they be compared to over here? I only know that one recorded. Are they big? Do they write their own stuff?

CuriousMama Sat 01-Dec-12 11:26:47

An Italian won it so why not an American? I'm going to vote.

As an aside, anyone else wonder if Dec is an MN-er ??

Just the way he says "vair vair sexist" when they're mucking around letching over Ashley made me hmm

Felicitywascold Sat 01-Dec-12 11:43:51

Groan... A teenage boy did a 'vair vair sexist' Dec impression at me in a lesson yesterday. ...when I complimented the girls in the class on some excellent work.

I foresee a very irritating next few weeks!

Mrsjay Sat 01-Dec-12 11:46:49

An Italian won it so why not an American? I

He is a brittish Italian though and his accent never fools me he goes even more Italianer when he is cooking I think he has a sceret London accent grin

MaryChristmaZEverybody Sat 01-Dec-12 11:51:37

Which Italian won it? I can't even remember last year. Was Joe Swash last year?

When I think of winners I can only think of Kerry Fucking Katona and Tony Blackburn. Some older woman won it too.

I should google [lazy]

CuriousMama Sat 01-Dec-12 11:52:36

Is he British Italian? I'm shocked. Can't stand him either way. Only because he calls women on their looks.

CuriousMama Sat 01-Dec-12 11:53:44

Was Dougie from Mcfly last year. Stacie Soloman won too.

Mrsjay Sat 01-Dec-12 11:57:57

Or an Italian who lives in Britain that is probably better

Mrsjay Sat 01-Dec-12 11:58:27

Was Joe Swash last year?

joe swash was about 5 yrs ago grin

Rindercella Sat 01-Dec-12 11:59:47

I agree MrsJ, he's just far too Italian! An absolute parody of an Italian man!

Mary, it was Gino whatshisname, TV chef. I barely watched it that year as it was as dull as dishwater. Joe Swash was a good few years ago - 3 or 4 at least. Last year, hmm..ah, it was the bloke from McFly. I remember because his bandmate won Strictly.

Rindercella Sat 01-Dec-12 12:00:18

Too slow - had a grocery delivery interrupt my typing! grin

CuriousMama Sat 01-Dec-12 12:07:24

Says Gino was born in Sheffield hmm His accent must be accentuated for effect if so surely?

Mrsjay Sat 01-Dec-12 12:07:25

Some older woman won it too.

Carol Bloody Thatcher which i was always confused about her winning ,

yes harry won strictly the same year dougie won celeb and i think danny won an opera star thing that year too, Knows far to much about Mcfly blush

Mrsjay Sat 01-Dec-12 12:07:47

Says Gino was born in Sheffield

No way really shock

Mrsjay Sat 01-Dec-12 12:08:33

that is why he sounds like the chef from the muppets gino is faux Italian grin

CuriousMama Sat 01-Dec-12 12:12:46

I didn't know he'd done a burglary either? shock

CuriousMama Sat 01-Dec-12 12:13:48

Oh now it rings a bell, was Paul Young's home. How bizarre!

Mrsjay Sat 01-Dec-12 12:14:51

Oh I knew that he was a waiter and he and some other waiters broke into Paul Youngs house confused

MaryChristmaZEverybody Sat 01-Dec-12 12:15:59

Oh, how did I forget Dougie. He is my favourite person ever, and I like Harry too. McFly were on Celebrity Cube the other day and I thought they were hilarious. Dougie reminds me so much of my ds.

Oh, yes, Gino and Carol bloody Thatcher. I don't remember Gino's year much, and Stacey's voice drove mad (though she did seem to be pretty nice).

The old person I was thinking of was Christopher Biggins. And Jenny Bond who came second to KerryFuckingKatona was someone I thought came across very well. That was the year Jordan tried to get attention by pretending to fall fell for Peter Andre hmm.

CuriousMama Sat 01-Dec-12 12:16:17

No he was born in Naples, bloody wikipedia.

Great that he turned it around though and learnt his lesson.

MaryChristmaZEverybody Sat 01-Dec-12 12:16:41

That post took me so long to research and post that I'm going to have to go back to read about Gino confused.

Mrsjay Sat 01-Dec-12 12:17:27

so not sheffield then grin

CuriousMama Sat 01-Dec-12 12:19:06

Seems not grin
