I sort of agree about David, Maryz but what can I say, if I vote on how shallow I am and how much I fancy him, I'll choose him.

I too think Ant and Dec are very funny, but I do get really irritated when they keep repeating the same thing. Isn't there enough going on over 24 hours to make up a show full of new items? And those bloody commercial breaks!!!! I swear I will never buy Iceland food in my life.

For example, when David really, really, really wanted to do a trial they named him as "might" against Helen. There was no way he had been voted for, imo.

I don't like Eric, but I don't like Helen more so I find myself urging him on which is really horrible of me.

Hello I am a huge closet fan of I'm a Cleb and I have been meaning to seek out this thread to join in.

I hate Eric with a passion. Horrible, misogynist man. Saying that he'd like to crush Helen's head so the puss would squeeze out was so far beyond a joke. I hate that people say he, 'tells it like it is'. No he doesn't. He tells it from his nasty little warped perspective, not from any actual fact or truth.

David. Nice body. Huge amount of arrogance. Think he'll last another couple of evictions and then get booted out.

Colin. What a lovely man. Obviously desperate to leave now though.

Hugo. Has really grown on me. Thought he did exceptionally well in last night's trial. Very brave to go back and find the final star. I know some on the show said he was after David's approval, but I think not. I think he just wanted to show he could beat (or at least equal) the arrogant twunt!

Helen. Hmmmm. Now I don't have to endure her watching trials I have sort of come to like her a little bit. But at the fake tan. I think she's going to be really pleased she didn't have access to a mirror when she sees that back.

Rosemary. Mad as a March hare. Probably very annoying to live with, but entertaining to watch.

Charlie. Love her. Lovely, ballsy woman. Looking forward to seeing her do another trial. She's intelligent and articulate.

Ashley. Ditto. Really like her.

Would like to see Hugo, Charlie & Ashley in the final three. Think they have come across the best.

Well...I don't like Helen that much! I think she is a product of her upbringing. However, I don't think she's totally dumb and she is learning a bit. Eric is just horrible to her - a real nasty bully. I wish some of the others would stick up for her a little bit more. Linda said she'd have a word with him about it, but just ended up agreeing with him! I know when I was in my early 20s there was no way I would have stood up to a big, rude 60 year old man.

I'm Team Hugo now. And team Ashley as well, they are my favourites!

Thought it was interesting with the boxes how everyone had something from their 'nearest and dearest' that was personal to them (except maybe for Helen's mug - DD made me promise I'd never waste space with a mug in her parcel if she was on there!! ), but Eric got a cuddly toy that he clearly hated. So someone had not put much thought into what would please him - which makes me think he treats his family like shit, and is getting his payback!!

Coming late to the party but another closet self confessed Jungle addict here.

Any & Dec are totally cheesy and inane but I love them in this & agree it wouldn't be the same without them, they make me laugh so much its obvious they love their time there and theyt seem to have a good rapport with the aussie crew.

Hugo is growing on me too I think he is learning a lot about life and other people, and I really admire him for battling on with that last challenge to get all the stars despite clearly almost freaking out & hyperventilating at one point. He was also very sweet with Ashley when she did her screaming thing & it was hilarious how relieved he was when he discovered it was a wind up.

I loved the meddling challenges -thought Helen would self combust without her mirror, but she took it well afterwards.

Ashley is really coming into her own & I love Rosemary as she always seems to have something positive to say about everyone & is very encouraging.

Eric is just a nasty grumpy old git but he is funny a times.

Hugo is going up in my estimation too. I think I would like Ashley, Hugo and Charlie in that order. But I suspect Charlie will go soon.

I suspect Colin didn't try too hard for those little stars - whereas Eric really wanted to win. But it was interesting that Colin got all his big stars for food, whereas Eric didn't bother, being not such a team player. It showed their characters very well, I thought.

I always enjoy the meddling - and am amazed how they all seem to forget that they are playing a game. I mean, every year someone gets silly tasks to do, and every year no-one cops what they are up to and some fecker tries to spoil it. I mean, do they not watch it before they go in?

Aww I've just done the same thing too and was so sad to see he had lost a son to SIDS. How awful for him. Apparently it happened while he was doctor who in 1984. Hate hearing about things like that. My cousin lost her two year old daughter to SIDS about twenty years ago. Awful awful thing.

I was only a kid at the time Curious but I remember when Colin lost his baby son to SIDS, it was either during or just after his time as Dr Who. Very sad

They were talking about hunger and lack of food and he said that they do get help with things because their bodies are detoxifying. Maryz I wondered the same - whether the whole thing hadn't been the brilliant PR / career move she'd hoped & expected and is now lying low. I'm guessing she hoped she'd be seen as super hot vamp / Zoo material.

The thing is I think there was quite a lot of affection for her in the end - I certainly felt much more protective of her in the end. I seem to be the odd one out but I LOATHED Rosemary and I like Eric. She was bossy, irritating, patronising and rude - completely lacking in any self awareness of how arrogant it is to talk over the top of people, order them about and then come out with comments like, 'I'm a nice person. I AM'. She is really offensive to people's faces and then sits for the camera going, 'Oh but I absolutely adore Hugo, he's such a sweetie'. So two faced. Eric on the other hand couldn't give a shit about his PR. He is just blunt and says what he's thinking. I don't mind that at all - you know where you are with him, nothing two faced about it. He doesn't suffer fools gladly and, as my grandad used to say, 'calls a spade a bloody shovel'. Like him saying to Helen, 'You look bloody stupid' over the fake tan. Like Ashley said, he doesn't have a filter. If he thinks something then it comes out his mouth.

No, I disagree with that (re Eric). There's a world of difference between calling a spade a spade - (being straightforward and honest), and being downright rude and unpleasant. The filter is an important tool for getting along within a community without unnecessarily hurting other people. Hugo for example was straight with Helen about her ridiculous bra, but he said it in a measured and thoughtful way.

This whole calling a spade a spade thing seems to be an excuse for riding roughshod over everone's feeling and at the same time getting applauded for being so straight talking. Don't like at all.

There is a huge difference between saying things that are true and honest and just thinking up rude things to say. Ie, 'you shouldn't do a trial, we're hungry and you will fail' is true and honest and serves a purpose, 'you are like a giant spot, your skin is so horrible' is rude and unnecessary.

I was sad to see Eric go tonight and would have liked to seen him in the final 3. He has his faults like everyone else but he has a good heart. All the campmates liked Eric, including Hugo and they saw more of his character and personality than the snippets we saw on tv. Eric was quite sweet when he said on video tape that he enjoyed Hugo's company and would miss him if he left.
It was lovely to see Charlie enjoying her 4 minute phone call with Kiki. How sweet that Kiki wants to be princess of the jungle.

Very pleased Eric went. Whatever he, his son, or his agent say about how badly he was portrayed, there are still words he said that cannot be unsaid. Such as the comments he made to Helen about squeezing her head.

It's true, just about everybody in the camp did seem to like him and they got to know him an awful lot better than we did. But I guess what I don't like about him is that if you're a woman you have to be super attractive for him to be kind to you. If you're a woman and not so attractive, he will be nasty. He even made a comment about Charlie's weight last night...can't remember exactly what it was, but it wasn't great. And also, when he was leaving and Charlie went to give him a hug, he told her to get off him. Didn't hear him say that to Ashley.

So a barely comprehensible, quite unattractive (sorry Solo!), overweight man with moobs and awful teeth, will only be nice to women who he fancies and has zero interest in any other woman there. And then a very attractive man with probably the best body that's ever been on IACGMOOH (was David naked in the shower? Can't say I remember that!!), is pleasant and civil to everyone in the camp, regardless of their age or looks.

Yes, Ashley is one of those rare things in showbusiness, a genuinely nice person. And she is lovely looking, with a fantastic figure (and a great sense of humour). Even without make-up and with no silicone, she looks lovely which makes her a great role model for young girls.

I have been commenting on her figure a lot to dd, and the episode with Helen's push-up bra was fantastic. dd is 16 and a lot of her friends seem to think that an E cup is normal, and they are all too small, so to see someone like Ashley is very good for them.
