Why was she originaly fed by tube, they are doing a starvation thearapy????

She is in a nappy and tube fed, mum thought she couldn't dress all that well.

Saw it last time it was on (on Sky One, I think).

Eventually the little gir does start to eat small amounts of food.

Why is the girl tube fed and in nappies, is it pycological, over mothering or a medical thing???

She was ill when a baby so originally was tube fed because she had repeated operations but as she got older she got dependant on the tube rather than eating herself.

And then when she wouldnt eat they used the tube so she realised she didnt have to eat because they would always use the tube iykwim.

Ah so it kept going and she wouldn't go back. Mum not helping much is she? But desperate for her to eat.
