Best and worse Christmas TV ads anoyone??

Best: M&S with Antonio in, though it's not on often enough!

Worst: Dreadful, dreadful ad for Littlewoods with Susannah saying 'let's nick the lot' and then them crashing Santa's jet-mobile thingy...

i think the john lewis one is clever where they are piling up gifts and the shadow makes a picture

Yes, I love the M&S one too.

I hate Nicole Kidman shouting "I'm a dancer" all hysterically in that Chanel ad.

M&S one gets a vote but also like the John lewis one where they make up the picture too. Also dare I say it quite like the coca cola one (where you see the little girl as she gets older) - I know coke is junk and shamelessly uses this type of year to pretend its a xmas tradition but I just like the style of it.

Worst? Where do you start- currys , the stupid ernest jones ones wtih the animation and the bloke stealing snowflakesor whatever to make jewellery, the iceland xmas ones and I have to say I hate the keira knightley chanel ad more than the nicole one.

Worst are Tesco's and morrisons definately - surely these people have enough money without needing to whore themselves out to supermarkets!

I especially hate the one where Diamuid Gavin says "fresh baked bread, like you used to be able to buy on any street" - yes, used to be able to, before supermarkets stamped all over local bakers and drove them out of business you annoying little man. Phew, just had to get that off my chest.

why would i want to dye my hair to look a blonde wig? that loreal ad with the model, i can never catch her name!

All the perfume ads are sooo annoying! and all the same. lusting models looking at each other. do these companies have no imagination? and why is beyonce saying "a giwls, best fweind" in the armani ad??

struggling to think of an ad i can actually bare, let alone like.

i HATE th tescos / morrissons ads they are so crap!!

woo! someone mentioned the john lewis ad! Dare i admit to working for them and the consensus between most employees is it is way too subtle and forgettable (and cost a small fortune)- and doesn't feature Antonio Banderas, which is a definite bonus, to any advert!! M and S have a great formula for xmas ads- the shirley bassey 'get the party started one' was a fab big production number too.

def worst ads are the morrisons one...and a motley bunch od 'c' list celebs they have in it, too- Alan Hanson and Lulu- wtf???

and if any ad has the right to use santa in their ads, it's coke, since it's cos of them Santa wears red..(useless peice of trivia, there).

I hate the DFS "All I want for Xmas Is You" ad, and I loathe the Boots "Here come the girls" one.
Office party hell and can you imagine the STENCH from all the perfume and hairspray.

Christmas started properly for me and DH the other day when we saw the old Helmanns Mayonaise ad - the one that goes to the tune of 12 Days of Christmas...

I quite like the John Lewis ones too.

I love the coke advert, definately agree its not Christmas until i've seen it. Hate all adverts with kids toys in them, as if theres not enough pressure on parents without having them shoved in your face.

I love the M&S one (cos of Antonio, fwink)and the John Lewis one (clever and subtle)but hate the Coke one with the little girl growing older - would be more realistic if she had no teeth left, fwink. Sorry, have to keep saying fwink, I love it. Agree with Minko about the worst, definitely Trinny and Sooz in the Botox Mobile...
Oh, and I love the new Famous Grouse one, it just makes it feel like Christmas when you see the new Famous Grouse ad... what is it though, is it whisky?

Oh and hate Nicole Kidman's Chanel ad - just deranged. And any computer one, especially if they say "Only four nine nine" instead of Four hundred and ninety nine, fangry fwink. Is it just me, why don't the bolding asterisks work any more?

The mandle candle ad, isn't that bad - its the product that is trully awful!!!
