Virgin Media problem - is it happening with your service too?

We have virgin media and sometimes on programmes we've recorded the sound dips out for a split second, every few seconds or so. Used to think it was an issue with Living - maybe they didn't want me to tape Grays Anatomy - but now happening with other channels. Does this happen to anyone else - it's not all the time, but is most annoying when it does happen.
