What is the deal with the brother?
Does he think he has powers or can he 'absorb' other powers for a while?
I still can't figure it out!

Do you mean Peter? He has the same power as the other hero whilst he's in close proximity. Sometimes his power is slightly different or better than it is for the original person, for instance he didn't have to get high on heroin to paint the future.

The brother can absorb others powers. On the 'heroes unmasked' programme on BBC3 they said he will turn out to be the most powerful of them all

He absorbs - but how long he retains the power and how he can control them are what he needs to learn. But I have watched the series so don't want to write a spoiler.

And what about Niki? Has she got some kind of duel personality?

I have seen the series online too and Nikki is confusing but - I just looked at it as half super power half multiple personality disorder, bit like the artist needing to shoot up before he could access his power. Once Niki gets proper counselling she will be ok{grin]
