The funniest TV moment of this year?

God the unintended double-entendres.

Absolutely classic.

but why didn't they tell him while he was on air - set up ?

Even if it was a set-up (and why was Naiomi's leaving outfit different to her boardroom outfit? ) it was still hilarious!

I noticed the leaving outfits looked staged a few weeks back.
They always involve some posh black coat or suit.
Suspicious!

They all wear different outfits because all the "exits" were filmed before the start of the series rather than as they happen.

Can't believe I know that.

But in that case how come when they do their bit in the back of the taxi, they're in their eviction outfit but talking about the task they've just been evicted for (or at least she was last night and it's the first time I've noticed it!). Or am I getting just ever so slightly obsessed?!

Really Judy7? I didn't know that! ANy more Apprentice factoids for us?

Me and dh usually have one TV programme that we both really like and it's like a weekly 'date' for us (sweets and everything!). How sad is that??!! The Apprentice is our show-de-jour.

dh pointed out some weeks back that it's daylight when they're fired; then dark out when they're talking in the car driving away

I read this somewhere before the series began and it makes me and dh laugh every week...are you sure she was in her eviction outfit and not her boardroom outfit? I didn't notice that I must be honest..

Yup, me and dh have it as our weekly date too with a big slab of Green and Blacks...I am really worried that next week's "I've been Fired" will be a big disappointment as 3 of them will be interviewed in half an hour and won't be able to say much...I think SImon and Kristina will be in the final..what does everyone else think?

OK I really am sad... we have last night's episode on HDD so I've just checked. It's hard to tell (as Stinkypete says, it's dark!) but she is wearing black in the taxi. She was wearing grey in the boardroom, black on her way out to the taxi (in broad daylight, lol!). But it's just a head and shoulders shot so you can't tell if it's a different outfit or just a coat.

Glad we are not the only saddos. We had Frys peppermint creams and bourneville last night

I think Lohip (is that his name?) will defo go next week as he is just bland. I think Tre will go cos he is too cocky and Christina will go cos she is efficient looking but maybe not apprentice material (she is one of my favs though).

I think awful snobby 'get back up north to your northern friends' women will stay, and Simon because he is like an eager puppy that Sir Alan will be able to boss around.

Oh God, please say that awful snotty Katie woman won't win it, I couldn't bear it. I think Christina might be a winner, she seems tough and super efficient. I do love sweet, funny Simon though, he really is such a keeny. bet his hand was always up first when asked Q's in class

Did anyone else enjoy when Sir Alan (later on) called it all a pile of Toot?

I love that expression. I would like to use it more in RL and on MN.

Did anyone hear what Katie said when they showed the clips from next week?

I didn't get where I am today by staying at home and playing mummy (or something along those lines)

In dh's family toot is the crap stuff no one wants that his mum keeps giving people so he was overjoyed to hear someone else use the term. hurrah for toot
