The BBC said Women's Institute, a political protester and a former lap dancer were some of the contestants this year - no different to any other year then?

its too sort of sad now cause they know what they are in for and so do we too

Its like knowing theres a naked man standing beside you - you want to look but know you shouldnt

Report
suzycreamcheese · 30/05/2007 11:37

lvt..yeh but..

...if you look at this naked man, even just squint.. then..

you/me/everyone.. will to have to suffer him and his pals for weeks ...for ever ....
then in 'news' print, mags, cheap tv programmes....knowing his sad life will duly crumble into appearances at karoke nights in prestonpans...

its a slippery slope....

I'll be watching! Can't wait to see who they're lockng up together this year. I got hooked a couple of years ago and I don't care how sad anyone thinks I am...I LOVE IT!

It's car crash TV for sure, but it helped me keep my blood pressure levels down during pregnancy last summer as I ensured that I watched each evening whilst reclining on the sofa. Midwife was impressed at the strategy for ensuring about an hours rest each and every evening.

I know this is really unpopular, but I can't stand this show. I hate it, even the intro music gives me a sense of foreboding - "oh god, not AGAIN!"

It is on for such a long time every year that it feels like the previous show has just ended when the next one starts. And it takes over the entire channel.

Frankly, if they have to show this programme, i don't know why they don't have it on all year for one hour a day and then place a blanket ban on any mention of it at any time for the whole rest of the day. That way fans still get to watch and those of us who loathe it can still watch channel 4 (i basically boycott the channel for much of the summer, just so I don't have to see a glimpse of it)

Rant over.

Ohh good something to watch on telly of an evening for a change.

I predict I'll be spending large parts of this summer listening to birdsong and watching people sleep in the wee hours while feeding a newborn.

My guess is the housemates will consist of :
at least 2 gays
one really odd bloke that obviously doesn't fit in & doeasn't really want to
at least one really dim girl with large boobs
1 vaguely sensible person
someone much older than the rest
a lad with silly hair who thinks hes really amusing
someone with too many tattoos
someone who wants to be a moggle
at least one scouser
someone that always wants to take their clothes off
