Couldn't stand the bloke (looked too much like Leo Sayer), cocky, arrogant turd as far as I could see.
This was backed up by his solo at the end when he was singing the last line 'For I have been promised a land of my own '
Did he actually sing 'A SHOW OF MY OWN' ? I am sure he did. Emotions running high and all that but what an arrogant and innappropriate thing to sing.
To get to 35 and not make it in the West End - Mmm, has to be a reason for it. Maybe someone should tell him to look at his attitude. Reminded me of the really dark haired girl in 'Maria' who thought she a cut above and got through but then dropped out saying it would 'damage' her career !!!!!
Keith for Joseph.
Yes, Quirky looking
Yes, probably not what you'd expect
Yes, bit of a dodgy barnet
BUT, boy has he got a voice !!!!!

Yes he really did sing that. Cracked me up. I love Keith too, but realistically, I think Daniel's the man for the job.

Oh Seamus was my fav! I'm devastated that he's gone. Yes, he was a bit arrogant but he was also good! And a bit different - the rest are so samey! I was definitely voting for the older man.

The kids got me into Joseph a couple of years ago and so enjoying the show! Grease on the other hand - ugh. Love Grease the movie but this joke of a show on ITV is just nauseating.

Couldn't agree more about Grease Sugarmagnolia. The children are watching it but it really stinks compared to Joseph. No class at all. And Zoe Ball appears to have left her personality at home.

Daniel for Joseph!!

Keith is yuk and I do not like his voice!

Seamus was a pratt and I loved it when ALW said 'I do wonder why you have got to 35 and still not made it!!'

his face was a picture.

I didn't notice that, wish I hadn't deleted it. I think it was a funny thing to do, rather than jsut arrogant. I like Keith too.

Seamus was a prta to sing that . EPrhasop he has been doing some behind the scenes negotiating and thatis what he meant by a conspiracy against him. Wonder if he'll have jeopardised it now though.

The problem is that the Joseph has got to sit right among the group of brothers, most of whom are older, so it partly depends on who else they have in mind for those parts as to which "look" will fit - Lee might just about get a way with it but Seamus would have been doubtful but I'm not sure many of the younegr oens have the maturity to carry off performance after performance , as Anthony's exit shows and they can't risk another Connie situation .

what's the Connie situation - i thought everyone, including ALW - loves her?

She insisted on doing all 8 shows and strained her voice so she missed a couple of weeks and is now doing six shows.

One of the other Marias is going to do the balance of shows Connie doesn't. Her voice wasn't up to doing 8 shows a week and the understudy (who plays the eldest Von Trapp daughter normally) took over while she was off sick.

It is Aoife who is doing the shows. I feel sorry for Sophie Bould the understudy - I thought she was very good as Liesl when we saw the show and the PILs saw her as Maria and said she was excellent. But I'm still glad we saw Connie!

Well I reckon it's got to be Daniel or Lee, although Lewis is kind of growing on me. Rob has to go - if Seamus does't look the part Rob is 100 times worse, even if he is younger. The man has permanent 5 o'clock shadow! Great voice but he's not Joseph. At least they're all kind of cute (unlike the Dannys!)

Lewis is growing on me steadily although Lee looks the part and can probably cope the best with the demands of the performances. Interesting that Aoife is now playing Maria for some of the shows - she did a stint as Roxie in the West End production of Chicago as well. Did think Seamus had a certain something but couldn't bear his attitude!

Can't help but laugh at Deneeeeez and all the airs she is now putting on! She has a little bit of talent and an awful lot of luck and now she thinks she's just IT!

I thought he said a Jo of my own.. show makes far more sense...

Unless his new girlfriend/boyfriend is called Jo...

I don't like Seamus.. great voice, bad attitude and in a show like this, you have to have the package.

But I DID LMAO at "..I have been promised show of my own.." Arrogant to the last.. but scary, in case he has!

Denise is amusing I agree. I saw that Tell Me on a Sunday drivel (or whatever it was called... one man (woman!) west end show she was in.. and it was her understudy that night.. but can't imagine it can have been any more interesting with her in it. I went to sleep.. in the front row!

I believe that's about her only claim to west end fame isn't it??

Didn't she do Chicago?
