Suitable for 6 & 7 year olds or not? Kids gone to neighbours to watch it and I've never seen it.

Thanks Nannyj. The film has been banned and they're playing out.

Is it bad? The neighbours son (7) claims it's his favourite film. That might account for his bad language though!

Just checked on www.imdb.com and it is an 18 cert. Cant believe your neighbour lets her kid watch it. You do mean the western with Keifer Sutherland? Thats the one i'm talking about.

Yup, that's the one.

She is a lovely mum, but a slack one, if that makes any sense. She's had a rough time relationship wise for the last 12 months and is looking after 3 kids single handed, working part time and doing a full time degree!

She tends to follow the path of least resistance where discipline is concerned, particularly where the 7 yo is concerned (he's the youngest). I would imagine he watched it with his 15 yo brother.

Some of her parenting choices are not the ones I would make, but she loves her kids and does her best.

It has to be said her 7 yo DS can be a handful and he found my house rules a bit alien to begin with, but on the whole he's an angel when he's here.
