I don't think she's quite that old, Fio, unless she sacrifices virgins on the alter of an evening so she can drink their blood.

i read on here, can't remember who posted it that the part was played by a different actress in the pilot, but she left and although the replacement was younger, they didn't change the characters name

I hate to break it to you but if you were born in 1970 you are middle aged .. (or a year or 2 off it) ... if ave life span is 78 then 39 is

but middle aged is different now
