I don't know who sold the house but Tracy didn't get it because she was never on the paperwork and they weren't married/have any legal document. He didn't have a will either I think so it would have gone to next of kin whoever that was.

Thanks w&smum. I didn't think Charlie had any next of kin though...or did I hear something about a brother.... Was it the council or something who sold it? Did the writers gloss over the whole thing?

I was thinking about that to, I remember from when he first came into the show, and was trying to cop of with Shelly he said that he was divorced with a Son he never saw. Then later either to Liz or Bev, (I think Bev,) he said he had a brother in prison and that his mother was awful and manipulating and had always favoured his brother. Also, he might of changed his will to include Shelly's unborn baby. Don't forget that 'Jason's' baby Holly is also his, so he didn't not have family in the end. All though he might have been lying or dropping red herrings.

Tracy Barlow hit him over the head with a bronze (fake, of course) statue after making out he was abusing her. She staged rows, noise etc to make the neighbours think he was giving her a bashing. He wasn't. He was, however, shagging Maria the hairdresser. She, Tracy, was not impressed but made out she forgave him and killed him.

Just went trotting in to DH to say "I know something you don't know" and he bluntly said "Oh year Tracey killed him", blar he ruins all my schemes

It hasn't been yet themoon66. According to soap gossip though because when Hollys mum dropped the baby off to Eileen she never actually saw Jason at eileens house.When Charlie copped off with her he told her his name was Jason and lived on Coronation Street. Its all gonna end in tears
