I thought Morris was brill in last nights episode, when he stood up and said what he thought of the new surgeon to his face. The best thing Morris had done.

Go on Morris, give him what for.

Not sure about the new Mark Green though, he was cute. Morris is not attractive in any way.

Moo, I thought I was the only person ever who thinks Scott Grimes has a certain bizarro cuteness about him. And agree he was superb in Band of Brothers.
Anyone else thinking that twinkly but somehow odd asthmatic geezer is the real threat to Abby and Luka's safety and happiness? That Forest Whitaker is a red herring?

Definitely Marina - I said exactly that to dh last night (I don't think he was interested, he only half watches but I try out my theories on him anyway). Could he be Abby's Dad? Did Mad Sally ever mention a father - I got the impression she was a single parent?

Of course! Her dad! So Abby is the old pal he is checking up on in County...
I have not watched ER from the very beg. so am not fully up on Abby's family history, but hasn't she been told her dad is dead? I mean, would you believe Sally Field ?

My two theories:

  1. Twinkly asthma guy is in league with Forrest Whittaker. He's a Private Eye who has a sideline in contract killing. Too twinkly for that, maybe. FW knew about Luka's family in Croatia so had been doing some digging - or someone else had.


  1. He's Abby's Dad and wants back in her life.

Has to be her dad. IIRC the storyline was that he walked out when she was really young, hence her having to deal with her mum's bipolar disorder.

Dh adopts a similar viewing tactic with ER btw - lights on but nobody home, so to speak. Last night he even read me out a piece from an angling mag ffs, while Weaver was snogging her new gf

I've seen all of them but I can't remember hearing that he was dead (that doesn't mean it hasn't been said though - I have a brain like a sieve). Sally's so flakey though that she could have lied - I think I recall tales of a nomadic kind of childhood with her dragging Abby and her brother off somewhere else whenever the mood took her.

Expat, I hate to say this to one of our cuddliest members, but it is Goran Visnjic who is bowing out this series, not poor old Maura Tierney. So I think if there is wasting, it's going to be precious Croatian blood spilled...

They need some more lighting in ER, definitely, the sets are SO dark!

And so unbelievable between Neela and Grimes. Yeah, like she'd so go this flat when she knows he's got a girlfriend!

Duh!

Like Ray would care if she brought some bloke home to bone.

Forest Whitaker is the actor playing Curtis Ames. I reckon he will be offed too, giving his life in protecting Abby and baby Joe, but failing to save Luka

Dammit!

I'm not watching anymore w/no Luka.

But see, he's bowing out of the show so he can move to Scotland to live with me and I can have his babies, so I won't need to just watch him on ER .

Ooh, yes, her dad - I am sooo dense when it comes to spotting story lines.
But I'm dismayed if luca's going - I just want him and Abby to be happy ever after...
Don't you think ER has become somewhat sloppy though - I mean, they no longer bother with dialogue, just cut to some musical interlude with meaningful glances...

Last night was extra soppy because of Laura Innes (Weaver) directing. She always goes for a smoochfest, with plenty of lip action for...Weaver
