dexter- just started watching. at which point should we finish?

Series 1 2 4 and 5 are awesome. 3 is awful and 6 7 8 are meh. The ending is possibility the worst ending to a TV series I have ever seen - I was so disappointed in it

I never finish anything.

I watched all of Breaking Bad except the last episode.
Gave up on TWD last season.
Watched quite a few series of GOT then abandoned it.
Watched AHS up until hotel...just didn't watch the very last episode.

I just can't seem to finish anything!

Season four is the best, but I'd watch the lot, purely so you can have the experience of the terrible ending.

I watched it all until the last season as it was getting pretty unbelievable towards the end IMO. First 4 series are great tho! ( Six Feet Under was good too...)

And, fun fact, the actor who played Dexter is now in a musical about David Bowie in London!

See I liked the one with Tom hanks' son. Not the best but I liked the 'twist'. Watching it a second time the twist is clearer!

It then slowly goes off the boil and becomes farcical and I gave up at season 6
