WTF is this? I have caught the last 15 minutes of it, and surely, this has to be the result of scraping the deepest crevices of the barrel there are?

I saw a bit last night & my thoughts were similar. Trying too hard to be Blind Date - it was of its time & had the wonderful Cilla!
