Any one watch this? Just finished watching the first episode on catch-up? It's brilliant.
Pulls no punches about the realities of Victorians times that are glossed over in the sumptuous costume dramas and Dickensian claptrap.
Love the way Jeremy Paxman presents it. The look on his face discussing masturbation prevention devices and corsets is priceless. And his empathy at the suffering of the women and children is so sincere.
Looking forward to the next one.
