Blush this has just dawned on me whilst watching an episode of friends. I know they were actors and not together in RL but for some reason I don't think my brain ever accepted this all these years of watching the show. I was just watching an episode where they were kissing and I thought "ahh they really love each other" and then my brain went "no stupid, they're not actually together!" This is the first time I've ever acknowledged that. They were always just so natural together. I'm a bit sad now. Grin

It's called acting.

Julie Andrews wasn't really a nun either, nor a governess.

Really?? Shock

I know I'm very silly. It just never occurred to me until this evening that they weren't a real couple.

It also became clear that Monica and Chandler weren't actually struggling with infertility when Courtney Cox Monica did several episodes disguising her pregnancy under increasingly baggy shirts.

On the other hand Scott and Charlene actually were a couple.

But they never married IRL though, so the wedding was a lie.

Utterly unbelievable - nobody would throw over Tom Selleck for fuckin' Chandler Bing.
