I just saw an ad saying The Missing is coming back

That was my absolute favourite show from last year (was it last year or the previous one?).
Oh lord I hope it lives up to series 1. I've never got over the disappointment of S2 of Les Revenants.

It's going to be a completely new case. I read that only the grizzly French detective remains out of all the original characters.

I never finished s2 of Les Revenants. Couldn't get into it. And I loved s1 so much.

I saw e1 of The Missing and it was so like Les Revenants I didn't bother with it. Was it exactly the same all the way through s1?

Oh I loved The Missing last year.

It's a shame James Nesbit isn't in it though. The final scene of the last series still haunts me, he was so amazing in it.
