Anybody watching?

Tissues at the ready!

SoleBizzz Wed 13-Jul-16 21:29:40

A man and a woman wrote separately to the programme both looking for their Mother. They are half siblings!

I am! Sucker for this kind of thing!!!

bluebump Wed 13-Jul-16 21:32:05

I'm watching. How amazing those two people are half siblings!

MissWimpyDimple Wed 13-Jul-16 21:33:28

Anna looks so so much like her mother!

The Mother of Viv in Equador

OhTheRoses Wed 13-Jul-16 21:34:14

Snivelling x

SoleBizzz Wed 13-Jul-16 21:34:27

Ignore that ^^
The Mother hasn't said a word about a Son yet....confused

SoleBizzz Wed 13-Jul-16 21:39:01

Oh wrong Mother

EverySongbirdSays Wed 13-Jul-16 21:48:49

I'm so looking forward to seeing that Ecuadorian mother meet her daughter - imagine not even knowing what country she was in/still alive etc.

First time I've seen it - loving it. Hoping I can get rest online

SoleBizzz Wed 13-Jul-16 22:00:43

The Ecuador Mother and Daughter looked lighter as if a weight had been lifted.

The Brother and Sisters Mither didn't want contact to avoid upsetting her family.

EverySongbirdSays Wed 13-Jul-16 22:06:26

Sad about Sue/Cliff couldn't she have met up with them and not told her family or it may have been contingent on camera s present - she might see them later

DP and I were both blubbing. (I'm adopted, not found any birth family.)

The brother/sister story was amazing and what a coincidence they both applied to LLF at the same time. I hope the mother does feel able to meet them at some point.

The reunion of the Equadorian mother and daughter was lovely - did you notice at the end, when the camera was behind them as they were walking away together, that their style of walking was identical?

SoleBizzz Wed 20-Jul-16 16:40:35

Fru I observed the identical walking style too!

9pm tonight

FruStefanOla Wed 20-Jul-16 16:58:31

Thanks for reminding me to watch tonight!

Watching

Hepzibar Wed 27-Jul-16 21:13:04

Deborah says that she's grateful her birth mother didn't put her through what she went through (breakdown of adoptions) but she did exactly that?

MumOfTwoMasterOfNone Wed 27-Jul-16 21:19:07

Will be doing shortly grin As a result of this programme we had our own little long lost family reunion. I managed to track down OHs biological father. He only found out at 18 that his Dad had adopted him.
We met up with him on Sunday and he is fab but is moving to France this week but has invited us all over to stay!

SoleBizzz Wed 27-Jul-16 21:21:18

This is making me cry. The West Sussex Barnard Boy. Ray.

Hepzibar Wed 27-Jul-16 21:21:23

Ray - bloody heartbreaking already

Theknacktoflying Wed 27-Jul-16 21:29:34

It just amazes me at how hard life must have been ....

SoleBizzz Wed 27-Jul-16 21:29:41

How could Barnardiston not tell Ray about this? Maybe his Mother was an unsuitable type

SoleBizzz Wed 27-Jul-16 21:30:52

I wonder how Ray got to where he is now he looks comfortable financially
