The tall chap who was with his friend with the blurred vision. I recognise him from something on TV but can't place him. It's driving me crazy! Was it Big Brother??

I recognised both of them and had definitely heard him explain what happened to his poor parents before. I couldnt place them either though.

Was so sad that they had to stick together because of bullying.

I missed the bit about what happened to his parents - I just heard his friend saying that he saw their names among the people who'd been killed.......what was it?

I also recognise Jason. It didn't say how his parents died. I wonder if I remember him from when it happened if it was in the news......but it would have been a long time ago so probably not.

Their friendship is bringing a tear to my eye, I must be hormonal but it's so lovely.

Jason's parents were killed in a mass murder in the New Forest in 1986. His grandparents were also killed. It was a revenge robbery by an ex employee, they gang raped and strangled his mother, then set the rest of them on fire! Absolutely horrific. Some of them appealed in 2008 but had their sentences increased! I think his parents were called Tom and Wendy Cleaver.

I've just looked up the Cleaver killing, that is absolutely horrendous. I hope those evil bastards are never freed.

Did you see the dedication to him at the end? He died! Not much on here but I think this is correct: jason.cleaver.muchloved.com/ also another blog by him 100percentsurvival.com/author/argo50/ - last post 31/12/15 describing a failed suicide attempt. Perhaps this time he succeeded. However he died, I find it very sad.

Jason died of natural causes in his sleep aged 51. His parents and grandparents were murdered in 1986, he went to shiplake college public school, and was an old viking. Matthew Palmer also an old viking is / was a councillor and controversial at that

The original episode was shown as a repeat last night on one of the channels, so it might have prompted people to search for related posts.

I’m confused. This old thread is showing up as a clickable link under discussions of the day.
Can anyone explain?

Smallhorse, I thought it was just me seeing this. Weird!
I'll report, I'm seeing it on "Trending"

The episode has probably been repeated again, prompting people to search and read this thread, which has caused it to be in threads of the day?

And here it is again a year later. Spooky.
