I feel bit tearful that that was the last one.
Also feel quite tragic that feel sad.
Had tears in my eyes at credits
I think I'm getting old

I felt sad it was the last one too. Absolutely hilarious though!

Yes - felt sad too. Is it just me, or is Richard Armitage much more attractive as Guy of Gisborne than he was in this? Just looked a bit more weedy in this.

Has been buging me since watching it, what else has Harry been in recently other than Robin Hood?

ipodthereforipoor · 01/01/2007 23:55

shit wedding dress though - looked like a bath robe! could do better, make her look really foxy!

Harry was in North and South a couple of years ago.

He was absolutely gorgeous in North & South - must just look & act better in period costume!

Yummy, he can quote Thomas Hardy at me whenever he likes. That one definitely had the ovaries exploding . But an all round very funny final episode, I thought.

The dress was from 'Helen Teague' who is the designer in Dawn French and Helen Teague's 16-47 fashion label.

I thought in an earlier episode Geraldine said one of her names was Bodicea but it wasn't mentioned when the vicar was reeling her names off.

Is my memory correct?

I'm with you on that one wheresthehamster...I told the TV screen, but it made no difference !

I thought that too, but DH said he thought that was one of the names of the old lady that died (Liz Smith's character).

I caught the last 15 mins of this. I thought her wedding dress was a joke to be honest until everyone stated swooning over how great she looked.

Guy certainly looks better in leather-kaftan-and-sword than in a suit.

JessaJingleBells · 02/01/2007 14:51

nope, definitely Geraldine's name (either middle or her first name so she chose to go by Geralidine which was her middle name?) remember David Horton taking pee out of her for in, sitting on sofa in her house...>

I liked the dalek bridesmaids.

Report
JessaJingleBells · 02/01/2007 14:53

I thought the wedding dress was a joke when she came down the stairs...thought it was just a white version of her normal vicar-y robes...or a strategically draped duvet cover...made her look huuuge.

Hmm..DH should just accept that I'm always right!
And google agrees with me 'Reverend Geraldine Boadicea Granger', and you can't argue with google!

Hurray!

I thought it was me going mad.

You'd think there would be one person on the production team who'd remember.

I didn't catch the whole programme but are you saying that the wedding dress wasn't a joke?

I thought it was a dressing gown.
