Raahh, hi! Yes, i saw Mike Berry's name, he had a fairly big hit with that song in the early 80s i think. My dad liked it ( its a very old song) but not his version, he said to me ' whos that twit ?' when he was on TOTP once. Ruined the song, he reckoned. (He hates modern music! ) Berry took over on Are you being served from Trevor Bannister ( i think that was his name) playing the young apprentice to the John Inman character.
I bet he hasn't aged well! Bless.

Good to see a Terence song on the list, i loved his voice. Love is a battlefield, oddly enough i was thinking about that song the other day. What became of Pat?

Trouble is I'm too busy on here (laughing mostly) and not paying attention to what they say and do. Lots of singers this week.

Oh- I forgot to mention that one of the auditionees, Paul Phoenix, was on Eurovision- part of the group - New City Groove. Remember them? They were pretty rubbish, and not very Eurovision-y.

80s- Terrence was brilliant, though his second album was terrible. One of my favourites of his is 'Holding on to you' from the 'Vibrator' album. He changed his name in about 2000, and has pretty much disappeared.

Shame he isnt still about, Raahh. I only have The hardline ..Cd and its not too bad. My son said he was a bit Michael Jackson when i dug it out once for a play. Seven more days was good, few ropey songs though. Not heard Vibrator.
I do remember new city groove, they got a few points i think.

And I think they always wear the same things- for continuity- since they don't know how it will be edited. Could be wrong about that though...

The last series I was fascinated by Rita's hair, every week it was another new and wonderful style ( and length!)

Destiny- Rita does have amazing hair a large collection of wigs.

I bet Palavar is regretting her choice of outfit- I remember one of the women on Dragon's Den being in the same boat. Hilary Devey said she didn't realise she would have to wear the awful outfit with mahoosive shoulder pads throughout the filming, or she would have worn something else!
