If I like The Thick of It and Peep Show, what other programmes would you recommend?

Just as above. I think I've watched both series' on repeat for a while now so I'm bored and would be interested in something different but similar to both those shows.

Have you ever tried The West Wing? Not a comedy (though it has its moments of being very funny) but it's obviously about politics Wink I loved TTOI and am loving TWW right now.

Ah yes! I'd heard of Veep but never watched it. I think Hugh Laurie features on it somewhere, I'm a House MD addict so that would work very well!

I'll also check out TWW.

Already mentioned by pp the smoking room is great and all episodes are on YouTube if you can't find anywhere else. Also green wing which is on 4od is great. Oh and it's an oldie but I'm Alan partridge is a classic Wink

The IT Crowd

Cheers She Cuckoo in particular is seriously underrated and no one seemed to see it but me and DH. And yes to IT Crowd- don't know how I forgot that!

Also- Extras, Twenty Twelve, Black Books, Episodes, Gavin and Stacey, Pheonix Nights, Catastrophe and Lead Balloon. Lead Balloon in particular is incredibly underrated and one of the best things that's been on telly in the last 20 years.

Nathan Barley - only 1 series of it sadly and bit old but so funny and still relevant about the trendy crowd. IT crowd as well as mentioned by others above.

Silicon Valley has its moments too.

The Smoking Room/Lead Balloon/Arrested Development/Spaced were my first thoughts and as they've all been mentioned I think you should start with them!

15 Storeys High and Human Remains are great too.

Pulling-Sharon Horgan's comedy from some years back. Bit like a female Peep Show and quite filthy. I love it

Another vote for Veep - US version of The Thick of It (well, similar) and very good.
