And this week promises a drag act, an ex- X Factor auditionee (who we won't remember), and a bloke who sang with the Beatles. Probably once, in the Cavern. From the audience.

I'm not sure anything will beat Bernie Clifton.

But the big question is, will I ever warm to Paloma? And does Bill.je.suis have the foggiest who BG is?

I miss S'Tom.

I need nibbles.

See y'all later.

The Voice UK song list - Blind Auditions 2

CHASE MORTON
'If You Want Me To Stay' - Sly & The Family Stone

DIVINA DE CAMPO
'Poor Wandering One' - Gilbert and Sullivan

MEGAN REECE
'What You Don't Do' - Lianne La Havas

STEVIE CALROW
'Witchcraft' - Frank Sinatra

LYDIA LUCY
'Trouble' - Iggy Azalea ft. Jennifer Hudson

NIAMH BRESLIN

MELISSA CAVANAGH

Nice to see some 'All about Eve'. Remember when they were caught out miming 'Martha's Harbour' on Top of the Pops? That was awkward. grin

I have just read Steve McCrorie's album (last year's winner for all of us who have forgotten him alreadygrin) got to number 35 in the chart. Apparently it is not a bad album, and was critically well received. We will have forgotten about him again soon.

Bill.je.suis was right when he said that the Beeb don't support the winning acts, though. They don't appear to promote them at all. Do they do a tour? I know in the first year it was scrapped when hardly anyone bought tickets.

Raahh Sat 16-Jan-16 19:48:57

Did she miss the deadline for BGT?

theredlion Sat 16-Jan-16 19:49:06

Her violin playing is much better than her singing I think.

Cocolepew Sat 16-Jan-16 19:49:54

That was shite, her voice was really weak.

Raahh Sat 16-Jan-16 19:50:18

Cocolepew Sat 16-Jan-16 19:52:02

Palomas hair is a bit yellow. Needs a wee violet shampoo.
