We're on episode 6, well, about to watch it tomorrow.

It is really disturbing, and I can't make sense of the Judge's decisions regarding what is relevant and not relevant evidence wise.

We've just finished episode two - I'm quite confused by the brother of the woman who goes missing when he's talking about grieving and how it might be a day, a week, a month - but at that point she's just missing, and her car hasn't even been found, so any normal family member would want to believe she was still alive?

I've heard a lot this show but haven't got round to watching it. Apparently it's been stirring up quite a debate online, both for the evidence that has been omitted from the trial and the evidence omitted from the series itself.

The case is so strange it's drawing criticisms from every angle. I'll be giving it a go when I get a chance.

We finished watching it last night. I think if this had been a film instead of a documentary, you'd be thinking, 'Pah! That would never happen in real life.'

It's an incredible piece of filmmaking.

It was a fantastic documentary. I feel so sad thinking about Brendan. How can this have happened? How could the police get away with so much????
I read a few things online last night ( I'd resisted the urge to google) but I still don't think they're guilty.

Just finished episode 10. Unbelievable programme. I honestly can't believe that Brendon was convicted on the strength of a dubious confession and no physical evidence. Unless they left a lot of stuff out of the documentary I just can't understand why he was found guilty and then not allowed an appeal. Truly shocking.

I'm not 100% convinced about Steven Avery but I'm horrified at the level of manipulation Brendan was put under by police and even worse by his own defence.
I've just finished episode 10 so I can't quite articulate how I feel but the way he was interrogated, manipulated, coerced and let down is just painfully upsetting.

I'm on episode 6. My heart broke for Brendan. There was no consistency in his statements so how was he convicted on the strength of those? I can't wait to finish it then I can google it. I've seen articles pop up where people have said things have been left out but I don't trust the people who are saying it.

Haven't read all the thread to avoid spoilers but am on episode 4 and we can't stop shouting at the TV. The treatment of the nephew in particular, the method of questioning, it's just... Unbelievable. I know there will be another side to all of this but right now we are enthralled.

I'm on episode four. My heart just breaks for Brendan. How can this have happened to him? No adult with him at all, and him clearly incapable of understanding what's happening. It's horrible, you forget you're watching real life rather than a drama .

We've just watched ep 4, totally agree about Brendan, poor boy clearly has no idea what's actually happening and the way he's questioned alone and ideas presented to him are utterly wrong & so bizarre it's all seen as admissible

And the story he agrees to doesn't even make sense, there was no blood found at the scene

Had to stop watching just before Brendans trial as it broke my heart to see him. He is such a child. It plays on my mind so much. I feel guilty that Teresa herself is almost forgotten about in all this, yet another injustice the authorities should answer to.

Imagine how many others have been fitted up like this.

DH and I have just finished binge watching this over the past couple of days and it's just unbelievable.

Every time we thought it couldn't get more awful it did. Absolutely astonishing in the worst possible way.

This is tragic; I think Brendan suffered a miscarriage of justice.

Steven, I am just not sure. I would not be surprised if evidence such as the key and maybe the blood, was planted, but the body was found in his yard and somebody did that. However, he was not the only adult living in the compound, and I feel that wasn't fully explored.

What gets me is I don't think Steven is sophisticated enough to have maintained his denial and covered up so much of the evidence.

I don't think there was enough in the documentary to say either way whether Steven is guilty or not. But what does seem clear is that he didn't get a fair trial and that there was an awful lot of local prejudice. I read that he has now got another lawyer who is renowned for overcoming miscarriages of justice. This can only be a good thing and will hopefully ensure a robust and transparent process this time.
