Just browsing and watching 100 greatest kids shows on tv - Lots of nostalgic flash backs, however had forgetten how terrifying Hartley Hare from Pipkins actually is - I'm sure his twin brother once featured in an episode of Twilight Zone! What a raggedy hollow-eyed night terror he was! Shudder!!

Nostalgia is best left in its cellophane wrapping!

I bought Pipkins - scarily, dd likes it, along with Fingerbobs (now thre's a pile of tosh looking back - beardy bloke in polo neck cutting shapes out of paper and some vv bad singing)

Mary, Mungo & Midge is OK - v restful - I could snooze to it quite happily and it kept dd amused on a long car journey.

Am off to bed and will probably now have nightmares about Hartley. Can hares get Myxamatosis (if that's how you spell it!)?? And what's with the camp voice and eyelashes? Priscilla Queen of the Hares??
